Only about 20% of the player base uses the forums to any substantial degree which means that leaves 80% of your market not listening. There needs to be an ingame mechanism.

where do you get your statistics????????????????

all the money is moving around the trade forums...i make all my deals now thru that forum...its the omnly thing that drives me to anyones vendor.

That particular statistic I got from the devs. I suppose they might not know how to read their own metrics but I doubt it.

Better statistic than "all the money" that is for sure.

I thought this was a roleplaying game i mean would you really yell your store adds every 30 seconds? oh wait no ever roleplays i forgot everyone just tries to get master then makes a billion credits and then kills things and talks OOC. If you want to do that then buy Halo on X-Box and a nextell phone.

Nauf...Doc's right. The dev's have ALWAYS added the caveat about the board's representation of the player populace that a large portion of the player base rarely to NEVER reads these forums, AND that people who post on these forums, over all tend to be more dedicated players than the rest of the playerbase. That's from YEARS of studying the field from them.

For example, out of the 5 of us RL friends that played this game I was the only one that posted here. Two others sometimes read the boards. The other two never read them.
