I've already thought this thru. How about when vehicles are patched in, a merchant can get a Jawa Crawler, that he can put his vendors inside. The vehicle would be a mobile house, with a drop down ramp/door and everything. You would walk inside, and the vendors would be there. You could register your vendors on the map, and the listing would follow the crawler anywhere it goes. If you parked it near a city, the maintence would be high, to discourage it from being there too long. You could also roll it into player cities, and open up shop with the mayors permission. I think that would be a great way to bring your merchandise to you customers!!

Hahah. Nice idea but I can tell you from what I've read that vendors have to be stationary in order to work properly. I don't know why it is true but it is. That is why you can't move them after they are initialized..causes problems with the vendor code somehow.

How about this:
* Cargo vehicle holds 100 items and require 1 lot.
* Require power to be able to move it. (same type as harvesters use)
* Moves slowly. (Only at standard player run speed.)
* When stored it save its location on the map, so it can only be called again if you are with in 15m. (Will not have the usual cal out rules of towns and camps and near resistance)
* A waypoint to your cargo vehicle can be activated, when it is stored, from the datapad control device.
* Make it park-able in the same garages that can repair verticals.
* If you buy a one-way shuttle ticket from a town in witch you cargo vehicle is located you get the option to bring it with you for an added cost. It will then have its location set at the garage of the new town. (Also for interplanetary travel)
