From a list of CS items they went over in a meeting with the devs:
Vendor/Bazaar Resource Display error - Dev is already working on fixing the issue where the specific name and amount do not show on the vendor listing. You currently have to view the description to find out.

If this was a 'known' issue on test then why push the publish out & the go for a 'hotfix'? Because all the jedi will scream at them for delaying again?!?!? So, I guess, Jedi > merchants. *sigh*
I won't start the whole arguement about original form of the game & few Jedi allowed.
As stated, the Jedi have to shop too so maybe we can get on our knees & ask all the jedi to please ask to have this problem fixed for us.
*shakes head* - another patch - another problem. Why play the day of a patch? There's always problems..............

I could almost imagine this little scenario taking place.
TH "we seem to have a few issues with the vendors, is there some way to fix these problems or enhance their operations in anyway?"
Dev1 "Hmmm, we could pull some resources off of the Jedi revamp and have it fixed in a couple of days"
Dev2 "Hey I have a better idea, why not bugger some of the code up and give them something else to worry about" the dev stiffles a snicker "I know, lets remove some of the functionality, that way they'll be too concerned about the other stuff to worry about us not doing it, then we ride in, fix the problems we caused and everyone will feel good about it"
TH "hey that sounds like a plan" and then in his best Jean-luke Picard voice "make it so number one"

Oh and by the way, this problem has been TC for ages (at least for the last couple of weeks is my understanding) and that the Devs have been aware of it as a known issue. The fact that this has been completely overlooked - and is still to be found on TC even as we speak - means that this is not going to get fixed anytime soon.
So essentially this patch has given a small portion of the player base a lot, and taken away functionality from all. Why am I not surprised?

I agree, I used vendor mails to update my /note inventory so I would know exactly and how much I had on my vendor and now I have to go count and pretty much guess what was sold.

It's especially unfortunate as because it's not a jedi issue we can prolly not expect a fix in weeks.

This is a load of ****, as I stated in my other mesage. This bug affects everyone, Merchants and Customers alike. The devs need to pull their head our of their nether regions and fix this. I've already had multitudes of complaints with people shopping in my mall about this problem. I hope they realize how badly thisimpacts the game (and economies).

From talking to freinds that play on test - this is a known *bug* they knew about ia month ago and have tried a few fixes that didnt' mess with the new faster loading.
In short - from what i'm told it is a bug - it's low priority and SOE once again proves that pushing something to release isn't really ready is a bad idea. Test knew about it - the developers knew about it. Curse the do it "right now" and let's go for the "do it right the first time" - i will never understand the logic of introducing a known bug in a post production game deliberiately.

Simply another exhibit (somewhere around No. 1,246,531) that the guys writing the code and testing it ... haha, testing, I made a funny ... haven't got the slightest idea how the paying customer plays this game.

As was mentioned, the whole vendor / Bazaar system was 80-100% borked the past several weeks on the test center and many of us reported it. They said something about "completely redoing the commerce server", so they may have started from scratch and totally ignored the user interface. The first poster is right - this is a nightmare to use both for the seller and the buyer.

OMFG i hope so. This has been driving me absolutely nuts. Not only can i not effectively resource shop, the thing that bugs me is also that the number of items in a crate doesnt show up. I sell things in crates of different sizes, and i hate the inconvenience of my customers. heh. i never post on professions forums, but this just gads i hope its /hotfixed !
