Agreed! If you're gonna hamstring us. Give us the option to lessen the pain. I'll drop combat skills and reinvest in merchant skills if I have the option to boost the limit.

For tailors, there are no positives here at all; it's literally a profession-destroying change. The vendor limit would have to be something extremely high, like 1000 items, to avoid a huge exodus of tailors from the game. (And, mind you, this hurts the *best* tailor/merchants disproportionately! The slackers can just go about doing things as they currently do, no harm done!)

I commented in the Tailor forum that I was fine with that idea and got flamed pretty quickly hehe.

I have 4 vendors and they have 100+ items on them...but apparently there are Tailors with over 1000 items on one vendor!!

I know nothing about database stuff, but if it would make the game and vendors less buggy and help the database, then I'm all for it. If they are just looking for things to nerf, I would say don't do it. I don't know alot of vendors who have over 150 items on them....heck most the vendors I check out have NOTHING on them!! (those of you who have your vendor on the dang map and don't stock--shame on you!!! )

I'm not for the bazaar cap increase tho. 75% of what tailors make is under 6k...and there are alot of other professions that rely on those 3k-6k sales to steal their buisness from their shops. I have loved that thsi is a true player economy and that shops are necessary....if people want to stock 1000 items in their store, they will have to train merchant, or hire a merchant.

I am for the 150 item restriction.

I am currently a 4/4/4/4 merchant and a 4/3/1/4 armor smith and I can honestly say that this is absolutly the dumbest idea the devs have come up with in months. If EQ can support over 500 PC controlled vendors in a single zone with over700 itemspossible on each vendor, the dev's here can figure out how to fix the vendor problems without nerfing the vendors themselfs. The total amount of items for sale on a global scale isn't going to go down, the amount of vendors is going to go up adding to the database problem. One thing that I see as a possible cause to the whole thing is the ability to check out the Bazaar globally. Bazaar terminals should only be able to search for stuff that is on that specific terminal or maybe even planet, not the entire galaxy. If the 150 item cap goes ahead I can see alot of crafters quitting and doing something else with their time. It's bad enough that most of the old school crafters from launch quit when the hologrind started.
