The alt key is used for "mouse mode" so it might behave kinda strangely.
Try using something like ctrl+shift+c and see if that works.

I can't seem to get this to work! I have my chat-edit-copy mapped to alt-c and chat-edit-paste mapped to alt-x but when I go to copy from the notpad (typing alt-c) and put it in the "set name" box (typing alt-x) found in the radial on the structure management terminal, I get nothing!

I can copy from word/notepad in windows (using the copy function in windows)and paste it in my spatial chat box (using the alt-x combo) just finebut I can't place it in my notepad or the "set name" box.

I've also tried copying from the notepad but when I go to paste it in my spatial chat box, all I see are numbers.

What am I doing wrong?! Please can anyone help?

I'm not an artisan/merchant. Does that matter?

OOh ... can i get an in-game copy? i have a bundle of people asking me questions like this and i'd love to be able to copy and paste this.

will send when I log in, and no need to copy and paste to them, just fed it out like I do
