This is a grate idea it would crate a real market. As a lower end crafter do to getting in the game latter then others it would put my products next to others and then there would be real competition. If other thinks that they can take me out by under cutting me go ahead a try. They will only be hurting them self’s. It will allow better products at a cheaper price no more monopolies with only a few well-known crafters. It will seewho is over pricing andwho is not. Give merchant profession a worth it value. But this should only be at the level of master of merchant. Allowing it lower then that will only makes it worthless. And it will cut the spaming of people witch means less lag. J

As a master crafter all around there seems the only that are people are against this are scared of a little competition. And lost of there sales do to there product not being the best it can be in price and quality. This will reduce the number of crafters in the game do to not being able to compete. Witch is a good thing for the people that are still crafting quality products. I still think that this should only be giving to master merchants if you willing to master merchant and use your skill pt to do so. There should be a better reword then a 10-credit merchant. I personally don’t think there are a lot of master merchants in the game still after the halo craze. So it will only benefit the true crafter perfection. Just like combat staking crafting staking should be the same way.

Competition is fine to some limits. When your sole profession is a crafter, it pretty often ruins the fun if you have to cut your prices because of the other crafters if you only want a chance of selling your stuff.

To me its not about increased competition, its about playing the game. Why even bother having a store then. how about just a virtual market place. Just throw a schematic in a factory then your product is instantly on sale... I mean this is a role playing game right? why have houses? why talk to people? why interact at all then? I don't particualy want to be the equivalent of an NPC crafter with purchases just on the bazaar.
I don't know, I guess I'm way off base here judging from the majority of responses I see to posts like this, but doesn't anyone take pride in actually running a store and drumming up your own business? The thing I'm "scared" of is just becoming a faceless craft bot.

I thought of this awhile ago, but i thought well that gives them auto compitition... So I thought what if Vendor owners could join together into a type of guild, or sales group, and they could pay a monthly fee to be joined together, and then this feature would work. And you would only be in direct compition with those you choose. I didn't pursue it, becuase i could see price fixing comming out of this, but it would be very useful to buyers, nothing like crossing a planet to find an empty vendor.
If this is existed would you join? I would. or maybe make it a benifit for player cities to register at City Hall and then all vendors in town would be linked planetary map status or not, but must have business 4 to do so.
oops have a illegal vendor do ya too bad, I just droped all my fricken' combat skills to get one to sell my BE goods.
I am half way there... I had to drop all pistol skills cause it is pointless to have a vendor with out being registered w/ planet.
