You can grind merchant XP, it sucks, but it works.

There are two good ways to grind merchant xp

place 3 small houses and put an entrance fee on each. Have all of your friends go into each house. As soon as you have redeed the house and start again. The second good way is to place as many vendors as you can (get management 1-4 first) and simply be AFK by them (youll need a simple macro so you don't log out )

Draz! LOL!

"Master: Congratz you can now place your silent protocal droid and maybe try another holocron."

The best of his class at secret training grounds on Yinchorr, Kanos was an expert at the echani fighting form and in wielding a force pike. Kanos' fanatical loyalty, though, was his greatest and most dangerous weapon. Even after Palpatine was defeated at Endor, Kanos and his fellow Royal Guardsmen remained true to the Imperial ideal. As Imperial moffs and admirals began greedily carving up the Empire to fuel their own ambitions, Kanos attempted to uphold the codes of the New Order.

My guess is most people that read/use your guide will be power gamers and the truth is there is no easy way to lvl to master merchant. I have basicly accepted that I wont play swg for a month other then to log my charater on in the morning and use an afk macro so I dont time out.

I have to stay in my house otherwise my vendors wont stay spawned and I wont get xp

Im really dissapointed.

Okay everyone! Let's all top our discussion so we can band together and put Mr. Holocron-Drone here on the power-leveling path to l33t jedi-dom. Heaven forbid he spend a moment longer than necessary associating with the likes of us.

Oh my goodness he is not attacking you at all. He simply wants to know an easy way to master merchant with out wasting weeks of game play. Unfortunately for a lot of use who are trying to become Jedi we have to master merchant. Its not that he thinks he is above you he just wants to get merchant done and move on. Obviously he has no interest in the profession but I really doubt he would dislike someone for choosing this profession.

So leave the poor guy alone, I’m in the same boat as him and I can’t wait for merchant hell to end! Although given my luck BH will be next...but that would be preferable at this point.

Don't cry about having to become a master merchant.

Just wait till someone gets a Holocron that says they have to become a master Politician.

Ok..I'm not going to unload on anyone trying to be a Jedi but I do find it rather annoying that becoming a jedi in this game is brought about by impatiently scrambling around for a holocron then impatiently mastering one profession after another without any real direction in your life....someone didn't pay much attention to the traits of a jedi in the movies when they designed this system.

Merchant is the easiest profession to master, not the quickest. Im a casual gamer and the profession takes care of itself...especailly now with month long sales.
