how about this, a artisan can make one of thos recording holo things (sorry dount remeber what they are called lol) and give it to a musican/dancer and they recourd them playing music/dancing and then you put it in your shop and activate it and it plays it. you can get like 10 of them and have your own band playing in our shop

Is there a way to have music in our shops?

Why not Devs you hear me. I want to have a band or some kind of music box <-- Have it where a Master Musician could make it and load all there songs into it.

At least music in our shops would entertain our vendors. Lord knows they won't have any actual work to do.

Guess three months isn't too bad of a necro, considering it's not a bad idea... I applaud your dedication to this, since January.
I think the most practical way to do this though would be through droids. An additional module that can be installed, which provides the ability to choose a theme from a list of presets. The list can be cut down from the selection entertainers and musicians get, so that no new resources would be needed. Goes without saying that these wouldn't provide healing, but slap on an on/off toggle and you've got yourself a portable boombox that you can set up anywhere from your datapad. Our choice might be in our shops, but I can easily see little R2 units trailing after NS hunts with battle themes blazing.
Of course, DE's did get about as much attention as they're going to get for quite some time.. But food for thought at least.

Or how about, if we can't have music, maybe soundproofing?
Seriously, the noise from speeders parked outside my shop can be quite annoying! It's somewhat useful in a practical sense in that I hear customers coming, but....
I'm personally more opposed to the sound of kimogillas getting eating (and getting shot by) the imperial troops garrisoned in the base in front of the mall I manage.
