Thread: Regarding the Skillpoint Requirements Needed for Mastering Merchant...
Most the Merchants on the forums would perfer to see better content for our skill points then our skill points reduced.
It is truely the one who are crafters with merchant or those who still want storage who scream for such changes as reduction.

It's the one's who are crafters with merchant.
I'm not sure if you'd tested it, but again in pre-cu times you could run around as a hybrid tkm/merchant or rifleman/merchant or (insertCombatProfHere)/Merchant be it for dabbling with the purpose of storage or sale you could and in my case did do just fine.
Post-cu this is a non-starter. Running around as a level54-60 hybrid combat/merchant dabbler character for the purpose of mass storage simply isn't effective in pve nevermind pvp. Don't even take my word for it, give ita try!
I too would love to see better content and such, but I'm trying to be careful with putting my faith in things that have a likelyhood of offering a return on investment so to speak. Hence I see the reduction in sp's ala the ID profession as a more attainable goal both from a pragmatic standpoint and from a "How hard would this be for an soe dev to code" standpoint.
It was not a question it was a statement
IT IS truly the one who are crafters with merchant or those who still want storage who scream for such changes as reduction.
I have been Master Merchant for two yrs and find no fualt with the skill points, only the people who want more of them.
Please do not change my quote to mean what you want, as it is specifically my own statement to make.
EDIT: btw a larger pecentage of IDs and Entertainers took the skill point reduction as an insult, the same as I did, and same as I would for Merchant here.
