Anyone who wants to see a perfect set up for Merchant tents check out New Unity (near Naboo) on TC. They have a square in front of the city hall dedicated to merchant tents. They have them set up with various merchandise categories and inside each one is 1 or more vendors that sell merchandise in that category. It is a nice little place where you can find most any kind of item you want.

Independent confirmation of this is The player City of RiverBend on Naboo in the Kettemoor galaxy. We created a city planning commission almost before we placed city hall. In the resulting discussions we laid out our town with almost the same arrangement, The merchant square is to the right of City hall (in front will be gardens) and beyond the square is the medcenter with the cantina and cloning center right next door.

Come by and visit some time. The waypoint is very easy to remember. 0,0
Yes when you get warped to center you will be in town instead of nowhere. When you loose a harvester or house it appears here so you can shuttle in to retrieve it or just to see what happened to it (We get shuttle port on Friday

How many items can you store in the tents, and would using backbacks help clear up some room?

I'm finding the building restrictions on the merchant tent/factories to be more than a little annoying. I can put a small house down in a spot, but I can't put a tent or factory in the exact same spot.


They really need to make the tents match the small house building restrictions so I can get all the tents where I want them.
