merchant xp used to be easy.. if they made it hard i'm gonna dread this more than i dreaded musician...

I guess I may have to make an alt chracter..... to sit in my main characters house... thats pretty freiken lame.....

I don't know if sitting with the vendors helps even. Viewing them seemed to help on one occasion.

My merchant xp worked fine until 1700 then froze... I went out to my house and viewed the vendor and it jumped instantly up to 1850, a friend paid my house access fee and viewed the vendor, and my PA partner viewed the vendor (he didn't get charged to enter our PA) which took mxp to 2000... I logged for the night, in the morning it was stuck at 2150. I viewed the vendor again and it jumped to 2300 where it has stopped again and after 2 more hours it won't move with me there or viewing or adding and removing items.
