I have the best looking vendors around. It is worth the trip.

I had the exact same problem. I roleplay an Imperial Officer, and I have a medical and mining vendor that is "run" by the Empire. My vendors needed to look like Imperials (they're also wearing the unifoms). I created human males, but they would all be fat, or have mohawks. I destroyed at least 200 vendors before finally giving up and taking what I got that looked halfway decent.

I think it is time to air my unrealistic theory (that keeps making more and more sense).
Each publish, the system count up the vendors and make a matrix of the height, wait, hairstyle and so on for each race and sex. Then that matrix is used to generate new vendors that is the exact oppressive of the existing ones. So the more "good looking" vendors there are the LESS likely we are to get one.

Something IS up, I think.
I made had to make three vendors last month, and the large majority of them were all at or near the shortest possible height (I think) for their particular species. I've made lots and LOTS of vendors, and this does seem to be happening more lately, in the last month or so.

I've been a merchant since the beginning of time, and ALL my vendors have come out chubby. The Bothans and Ithorians aren't too bad, but the rest - male, female, no matter what race - all come out with a huge beer gut or mile-wide hips.
I think what happens is I put a comm in to the employment agency, and they call out, "Hey, who wants to work in a food shop?" and all the fatties jump up and say, "Oh! Pick me! Pick me!!"

how can we really expect all the babes and hunks to be filling out applications to be working for merchants? all things considering, wages for vendors is pretty low, about 10-20 credits/per hour, the hours are just miserable, 7 day work week, 22+ hour work days, they are forced to bark the same thing over and over and over again. if you were a good looking person with any modicum of skill, would you do this job at this pay? c'mon now!

Heheh I have the most flat chested, huge bottomed, middle aged, twilik vendors
in the galaxy.
