I actually love the ideas for dealing with empty vendors. As someone who both runs a multi-player mall as well as one who likes shopping other vendors there is nothing I hate more than the constantly empty vendor.
However the item limits proposed are much too strict. Anything less than a 500 item limit per vendor (even for a low-level merchant) would ruin my in-game business as a tailor not to mention destroy the whole fun of being a crafter in the game. As a computer programmer, I understand the need for limits, but anything near the proposed limits.... YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST NERF MY CHARACTER!!!!!
Also I hate the idea of not being able to keep a vendor without having the required merchant skill level. If you are going to to this I recommend either raising the amount of skill points players have or lowering the skill point cost of merchant drastically.

/sign...guys I already have an 8 page petition up in regards to this...I recommend not running more than one at once..clutters up the boards.

Unbelivable! Is there ever an improvement that HELPS a crafter? I'll spend all my time loading my vendor from my army of small houses and factories if this goes through.
