Calm down, the "nerf" is a good thing.
That is your opinion. Not mine.

I suppose I should have explained a bit more but I was in a rush (still am - waiting for someone to go to lunch and could show up anytime):
1) There are numerous vendors I have seen that sell a single item that almost nobody would want a single of. This could elimiate up to 24 slots by just selling them via a crate.
2) I have seen many vendors clogged with items that they are selling for 100 creds or less - items that there are huge amounts of on the vendors for the same, or even lower prices. Why bother? Or better yet - why bother with them when they will eat up your cap amounts?
3) I made the mistake and ran a full 1000 item count on some 12.18 crafting tools. They sell great singlely, but I am now stuck with about 50+ crates until I work them all out. I should have just made a run of 5 crates and kept the schematic and resources for when I got low. Most people just do the full 1000, then put them all up on the vendor.
4) I have watched and listened to people who are grinding professions putting sub standard items up on their vendors since they MIGHT make a credit or two. Clogging your shelf space with junk is stupid IMO.
In the end, and as I have stated over and over again, and you had noted as well, IF the programmers forced you to keep the skills you needed in order to gain the benefits from them, this would have been a moot issue.

One I never said that the US didnt have rules. 2 I used an example of what they are doing to us. And the US doesnt tell you what markets you can and cant expand into. One of the things Ive read is that they are doing this to help the little guy by making the big guy work harder and not have as big a selection making the customers spread out more, well thats what I was talking about that the US goverment doesnt do. I know that there are rules to business.
Also I was a bit mad when I wrote this post and said that I dont take anyone telling me what to do in business and besides I can pretty much do what I want in business as long as you follow the set rules and I did mean business so i would never try to sell babies heads. (Come on, give me a break and thats just plain sick)
Lastly if this is their game and dont want our opinion then why even have this forums asking us what we think they should just have the game and say we gonna do whatever the hell we want then I know what im getting into and act accourdingly.

You seem to have a problem with vendors that sell odd items. I happen to have one like that - it does very very well thank you. I happen to have several interior decorators that know they can come to MY shop and pick up all the little odds and ends, especially since they can now actually decorate.
I offer a wide range of variety in my store - that is one vendor in 11. One thing that makes a store popular is variety of offerings. Impulse sales is at least 50% or more of my business. On that same vendor I also sell tools, repair kits, paintings, individual lighting fixtures, musical instruments - and a whole ton of stuff. You'd be surprised how well that vendor does.
After taking the summer off for RL - thankfully a lot of my vendors are either low on stock - or empty (and yes, I delisted them from the map), I was looking forward last week to getting back in the saddle and restocking - rebuilding. Ironically enough - that was the same day this all hit the fan. Why bother?
The market and customers eventually determine what gets sold or not, and that's as it should be. Just because YOU think an item is worthless doesn't mean others do. I don't fight, guns and armor and even food are totally worthless, completely useless to me. Should I go around telling people not to have those vendors because I don't see the value in them?

Perhaps they give us the forums so we can "feel" like someone is listening although no one does. Just how many devs have posted on this particular forum lately?
It is their game, plain and simple. If you read the agreement you have to agree to to play the game, you'll also notice anything you create, character name, idea, whatever...belongs to them. You sign over everything every time you log on.
I don't agree with the proposed changes and when whatever fashion of them comes to pass with Publish 10,I will have to decide whether to keep paying SOE as will each one of you.
