As long as the cap isn't less than 300 items per vendor, I will survive and keep my accounts.

Anything below that though, and I'm not sure what I'll do. Get alot of hate mails from customers who don't come to the forums and don't know about this nerf probably...

That's when I'll give them the tip "Contact a CSR and tell them you don't like the limits, not my fault."

Already canceled and I'm not sure I'd re-subscribe even if Sony backs off.

nope i wont,

I have already revamped my bussiness and its still thriving even at a 100 item limit on my vendors. though i would still like to see that doubled, but persoanlly i say let it go live with the limit for a month or soo and see what acually happens,.. cry cry combat classes with loot vendors and 1000's of items with no skills will lose there stuff.. ahh well. merchants with lots of vendors, and high up on the scales should still have great stores

Bye, bye, see ya later, Dont let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

I'm a master architect/merchant/artisan. I feel for the non artisan "crafters" (docs basically) but I'm very happy about this change.

Will this hurt my harvester business? yes big time...gone will be the combat classes dabbling in resources but i'll get over it.

The economy will definitely be different after this.

Arck that will teach me to post when I am tired... it should read "Won't" not "wound".

I've already told my customers about the nerf and that if it goes live, I will close shop and leave the game, I already hate the combat side of the game. The only enjoyment I get out of it anymore is having a kick butt stocked weapons vendor....as it is, I have over 600 weapons on my vendor and 4 factories to the gills in stuff...as well as a home that is used for one thing only....premium resources for my weapons....since I heard of the nerf I've been pounding out things to load my vendor up with as much as I can.....will be adding another 800 weapons tomorrow as a matter of fact.....

Do you think that is wise? 30 days after the nerf happens you stock will drop from the vendor and you will have no where to put it. Of cause if you intend to quit then that do not mater, but then why load the vendors in the first place.

I thought I read that if you have more than the limit....you simply won't be able to add more items until your under the cap.....

That was my motivation to load him up....

Correct, but the 30 day will likely remain...

ahhhh well then I'll probably end up deleting 10 mil or more in product....oh well....might just have one heck of a give away of t21's and the like to random folks as a leaving the game/nerf giveaway.

I'll stay with both my accounts. What exactly will happen depends on the limits pushed to live.

If they stay as they are on TC right now, I'll put down another armor and weapons vendor. One armor vendor for composite, one armor vendor for everything else. One weapon vendor for ranged and one weapon vendor for melee. Weapons will be sold in crates only and armor will be sold in backpacks only. Tough luck to the n00b who wants a single inexpensive quality D18 pistol.

If they up the limits just a notch, I'll still have 2x2 vendors but will offer single pieces/weapons as well.

If they up the limits another notch, I might be able to go forward with my original plan right before the vendor limits got pushed to TC. That plan involves having an armor vendor, a weapons vendor, a sliced armor vendor and a sliced weapons vendor.

I'm hoping the last mentioned scenario will become possible, but having been through over a year of sudden nerfs and changes, I'm not too optimistic about it to be honest. There is however nothing that equals SWG out there at the moment, nor is the future looking too bright. WoW looks bland and unimaginative... and EQ2 is another SOE game *cough* *cough*. I guess I'll just have to adapt.

Yup, all 11 accounts. I just cancelled a pre-order for 10 copies of JTL. I just placed a pre-order for WoW. All I ever wanted to do was to make and sell great products at reasonable prices. Now the game is no fun, and if this change goes live I will happily stop paying SOE's undeserved salary.
