Thread: Some things you may not know...
Those of us who can see what you are doing for merchants (and I have a merchant PC, so I'm speaking as a player here too) behind the curtain are impressed with your performance.
No merchant should be concerned that their views aren't being represented.

Marqie Your doing a great job with what you have been given. It is just a shame that the devs put you in the position to be honest. Certainly I feel that we are the most ignored profession out there and you have your work cut out for you.
For those who give Marqie Static.. back off lest she quit and we all suffer the loss.

I for one am tired of having to affrim my support for Marqie she is doing the best job that can be done with the rules she is given. Get off her back.
I do know understand why they are not letting the correspondants speak but I question the customer relations nightmare they are creating by limiting communication to one person and then gagging that person. That said I have complete confidence and respect for the job Marqie is doing for us and seriously doubt any of us could do anything that would make this situation any better than it is.
And I agree being the correspondant doesn't make her on call to answer every question. If you have a question ask it and you'll probably get an answer from someone, it doesn't have to be Marqie. She didn't get any special manual that you don't have when she became a correspondant she figured all this stuff out the same way all of the rest of us did by doing and observing.

GreenMarine is the Merchant Dev.
He is also the Scout, Ranger, Squad Leader, Chef and Smuggler Dev, and he's working on Player Cities too. So he's a busy guy. That's one of the primary reasons that you're getting less attention. When compared with Rangers, Squad Leaders and Chefs, Merchants are in good shape (/duck).

Keep up the good work. And keep those dopey morons off these boards! The rest of us can kick their butts. Your job is to represent us, and in that fashion, you are more than doing your job. I for one feel you are the best among us for the task. Keep up the good work. It's nice to know that SOE is at least listening to you, even if they don't come back and tell us that. I don't need them too. I just need to see the fixes come when they come. I am happy when they do.Thanks for all the work you do Marqie. Keep up the good work. The true merchants support you!

A 'known bug list' stickied to the top of the forum would probably do alot to shut people up and keep everyone informed of what's going on. It could also list the top 10 that concern most players.
Iknow that might bealot of work, but I think you have alot of people here who would help.
AND, I don't know why no one else has thought of this, but I know you guys get alot of grief.
Why don't you guys get together and write a short, calm 'This is what a coorespondent does' post and stickie that to the top of all forums.
That would answer alot of stupid questions.....
