What exactly is cross server trading? I've heard the term before but I don't understand the meaning. How can you move stuff from one server to another :s
Personally I'd love to be able to rent out vendors or even just add an admin to a vendor like you can with a house. I run a bussiness with some friends and as I placed the vendors its awful me being the only one who can ever restock!

Maybe limited admin rights on vendors would be the best way forward then to prevent cross server trades. I mean surely SOE could make it that extra admins could only add items to the vendor and maintenance had to be taken care of by the main admin? I mean if you rent a car you have the keys to drive but its not your job to fix it up when it goes wrong...

Actually, I agree with Isandra on this. I have 2 alt chars on my new second account working on master merchant, plus one of my mains. It is truly easy to raise to master merchant ( even without help). I also grabbed survey 4, so that slowed me down. Mineral survey devices take about 15 minutes to get business 3. ( I picked up eng 3 instead, and did wind generators for 10 minutes, insta 4/4/4/0 artisan). Since you are in Mos Eisley, rake in the ap xp ( should you even need to master merchant, and not just 4/4/4/4.... ). Log in just long enough to refresh your vendors for xp, and training. Since I have a second account, I can even browse them as I walk past stocking my other vendors. I can also place a 1 cr entry fee on my own house ( with alt), and gain xp for it on my alt, if 150 per hour per vendor isn't fast enough already.
I have considered mastering merchant on other servers, just to have one available should I want one ( or get bored and want to play newbie artisan again, I love that class)...
