Good question!
Maybe it should check for that on first load after reboot every day when it puts it on the map for the first time.

Yes. The vendors will check for 2 things:
1. Do you have enough "Manage Vendor" Skill to run the vendors you have
2. Are you beneath your allowed Item limit
If either of those is not true then you will be prevented from putting anything up for sale. Your vendor will continue to sell things to your customers and you can still receive offers (as far as I am aware) You simply won't be able to add new items for sale.

Hi Doc,
I dropped hiring skills and i'm at Hiring-1 ; at this skill level i can not place Ithorian.
But i have Ithorian vendors now.
I tried to load items, withdraw sale. And it works.

I didn't understand.
Even if i drop hiring skills, can i operate my vendors?
I operate.
I operate.
Or must we wait server reset to see it?
And thanks for your quick reply.
As i understood operating vendor depends on management skills. right?

We have asked that the fix the Advertising thing and the Merchant tent issue too. Hiring has always been tricky for us because no one has a good suggestion for what should happen if you drop the hiring skill when you've already placed the vendor. I think it COULD be logically argued that the hiring skill IS only used when you hire the vendor and not to operate it where that arguement isn't possible to make in the management line.

Nothing. This isn't the merchant revamp we've been talking about though these are some changes that have to do with a backend rewrite of the bazaar/vendor code. There is still work to be don on the merchant profession.

We did ask for fixes inside our profession.
We asked for the one that stopped people from outside our profession from using our fundamental ability.
None of it has EVER been called an exploit by the people in charge of the game. It was a bug that was fixed.
More bugs will be fixed as time goes by.
Thanks for stopping by.

OK... what if i decided to drop master merchant...pulled all but one of my npc vendors, and dropped all the way down to business 3? As it is now, that would be perfectly "legal" because I would retain enough skill for ONE vendor correct? Doesnt matter that it isnt the "coke machine" vendor, because all it states is, able to manage one vendor.... am I understanding this correctly?
