It is available to all professions, it's only a matter of whether or not you're willing to take the time to do it.
This is unbelieveable. First people complain because the way to become a Jedi is unknown (not very mysterious, but you had to guess at that post-holo profession, some people many, many times) And now that the way is clear, people complain because it will take too long. I say tough noogies.
If the path is known, it should take a LONG time, as it appears it will. There are already too many damned jedi wandering about, it's like freaking KotOR Online.

Well, short or long, It should take the same time for all professions. If a merchant with 12 vendors gets the same FS xp as someone who kills three voritors, then surely something is wrong...
Does a Master Merchant usually have no other professions?
There are at least 10 other types of experience that convert to Enhances Senses force xp. These include medical experience, scout/ranger, entertainer and creature handler xp. These can be actively accumulated to supplement the merchant xp if you need to speed things along.
