It is available to all professions, it's only a matter of whether or not you're willing to take the time to do it.


This is unbelieveable. First people complain because the way to become a Jedi is unknown (not very mysterious, but you had to guess at that post-holo profession, some people many, many times) And now that the way is clear, people complain because it will take too long. I say tough noogies.


If the path is known, it should take a LONG time, as it appears it will. There are already too many damned jedi wandering about, it's like freaking KotOR Online.

    Well, short or long, It should take the same time for all professions. If a merchant with 12 vendors gets the same FS xp as someone who kills three voritors, then surely something is wrong...






    Does a Master Merchant usually have no other professions?


    There are at least 10 other types of experience that convert to Enhances Senses force xp. These include medical experience, scout/ranger, entertainer and creature handler xp. These can be actively accumulated to supplement the merchant xp if you need to speed things along.


    Also can confirm that today on TC2 Paemos offered a conversion rate of 4:1 for merchant xp.

    I haven't been wading through the billions of FS posts over on test so I'll ask here.

    By taking these skills, will it burn up xp just like it does when learning any other skill and effectively un-cap me and let me earn more merchant xp to be converted again later or will it just give me an equivalent amount of FS xp and still leave me capped with merchant xp?


    I ask because I've been capped with merchant, architect, and artisan for about 10 months and have never really been interested in doing anything else.

    You will have to convert your regular XP in FS XP by talking with the NPC (Raemos if i am not wrong). The problem could be that the merchant XP can be converted in senses FS XP, and crafting XP in crafting FS XP.

    Either is fine since I'll need it all eventually.

    But does that actually take away my Merchant xp on the conversion and let me start earning more or does it just give me an equivalent FS xp and leave me capped with Merchant xp?

    Remember combat xp is given at a 1/10 ratio compared the XP of the weapon used. So for every 30 weapon used xp (at 30:1) a mob gived you get 3 combat XP (at 3:1) for a tothal of 2 fsXP. That a 1:15 rate. so a combated would have to make 150,000 xp and not 15,000 to get the 10,000 fsXP.
