I just checked on Naboo on Chilastra too, and that list is limited to 50 vendors in total (excluding the junk vendors) too.
So if we could get some confirmation from other servers, it seems each planet it being capped at 50 vendors, and it's first come first served to get on the list (or first loaded). I hope this is fixed soon, as it's annoying as it is to get have to travel to a remote vendor to load it up to be listed, now I have to race to be one of the first 50.
Just checked Corellia on Gorath. 66 total vendors - junk npc dealers = 50 vendors. And one company has a vendor in every category. Must be real nice to be him. ![]()
This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed immediately.

In Naboo when I looked under medical or food - there are maybe 2 - 3 merchants listed - seems a small limit if that were the case. But does seem a plausible theory.
Doc on a side note - I have had items delist one day and within 1 - 2 days those same items expire - I was under the assumption it was 7 days in stockroom - read through forums a bit - see it might be 3 - but I check my vendors everyday - to clear out stockroom so I know for a fact that sometimes after I log for the night things delist and by the time I get on the following evening 1 or 2 of these things will expire. I put a bug in for this - but am curious as to how long the stockroom holding area is supposed to be for.
I've had a simular problem pop up... I get notices that items have expired, yet I know my stockroom had been empty for several days, and nothing was offered....
So far, it's all been small, clothing items, but any high dollar items go, I'm going to really raise a fuss.

Just to add more info, I (and everyone in my guild) is having the same problem. Yesterday we could list things just fine. Today, EVERYONE gets teh "too mayn items" message.
Even the guy that only has 9 items listed.

And my vendors talk to animals: "A Dewback's house is a symbol of his status. If it's the safety of shelter, blah, blah, blah..."
A dewback's house?
Come on devs.

My skill mods show +9 Vendors and +2750 Vendor Item Limit.
I have7 Vendors setup and1768 Items for sale between them.
I went to put things up for sale and the system tells me I have too many Vendors and must get more skill or remove a vendor first.
I had a few things fall out but when I tried to restock direction from the "storage room", I get the same message.
I am under my Vendor and Item limit. My house will even let me make another vendor. Yet I cannot put things up for sale.

I don't because normally if you didn't have the skill it wouldn't be on the radial menu at all. If you drop the skill the ability to change the advertising goes away.

That 50 vendor thing makes a little more sense based on what I see. On the valcyn galaxy, Naboo has exactly 50 vendors registered on the planetary map. Most of them are weapons, armor, or eqiupment vendors (about 9 or 10 of each). The rest of them are spready more or less evenly between the other categories. The locations of the registered vendors seem to lend support to the limit theory as well:
1 vendor is located near Deeja Peak
1 far to the NW of Theed
2 near Moenia
2 in Southern Citadel (a PC)
3 near Kaadara
3 near Keren
4 between Keren and Southern Citadel
34 vendors packed tightly Near Theed and Craft City (a PC)
If there is some sort of limit to how many vendors can be displayed before it caps out, these numbers would back it up as most people on Naboo are in the Theed area when they start shopping do to the massive numbers of vendors in the area. To further add to this except for the 2 vendors in the Moenia area, there are NO registerd vendors south of the mountains. Not even in New Acropolis (the city I am Mayor of) and we do a decent ammount of sales each day. This again makes sense with a vendor per planet limit since everyone starts the bulk of their shopping the the Theed/Craft City area.

I'm a master merchant. My well-stocked vendors don't show up on the planetary map. Only a few vendors are listed on the planetary map. I see no vendors on the overhead map, even in vendor-dense areas like near Coronet.
One vendor seemed to decay extra fastfor no reason, withthousands of credits of maintance overdue. The vendor that decayed prematurelyprobably had around 60 days paid inadvance. Thevendors paid over 90 days or over 100 days in advance did show any signs of premature decay.

I'm a relatively new Merchant so I'm not sure, but did you used to be able to transfer a structure with a vendor in it?
I had my shop placed on a friend's lots, and I wanted to get it back on my lots so I can change the name and so on. Now when we try to /transferstructure, it says that my Vendor "cannot be traded and must be removed before this structure can be transferred."
Odeko Resci / Okedo Resci
I've transfered structureswith vendors in them before, and I've never seen a message like the one your recieved.

My vendors (which are all missing from the map) are all in a player city, but the city itself isn't showing up on the map either.
On Valcyn there are some cities missing too, namely Mos Eisley on Tatooine and Keren on Naboo, so far.
Maybe this issue, of vendors not showing up,is related toa problem with thePlanetary map, and nothing to do with Merchant and/or the revamp

No skills were listed for advertising, even before Publish 10, you just got what it said on the big skill box - Plantary Ad Campaign and that was it, and the same goes for all other skills, everyone else thinks is missing, they weren't there all the time anyway!
