Thread: REAL live info from the devs YOU MUST READ!
Okay after great hounding, I have some info that the DEVS have okayed me to share!!!!!
1. Please fix the need for reset of the Ad Bark and Ad Global Map every day.
GreenMarine: Done. For next publish.
2. Please make "consignment" or "Personal Sales" a priority.
GreenMarine: Won't happen right away.
3. Change the 7 day timer on vendors to 30 days.
GreenMarine: Kirk is changing the 7 day limit to 30 days for vendors right now. That will all be in the next publish patch. We start processing that patch tomorrow.
4. Add Global MapCatagories, and the Ad I "Canned" bark for Medical Supplies, and Bio-Eng goods. Also make the Master Merchant Vendor (C3PO) Bark, he is a talker.
GreenMarine: Added 'Pets / Pet Supplies' and 'Medical Supplies'. For next publish.
I hope this helps you all out guys, things are coming together for us. Next publish does not mean right away, but will be part of the next "patch" vs "hotfix", so it there, and coming.
GreenMarine: Maintenance has been fixed up. All vendors now cost around 15cr/day. If you don't pay your maintenance, you lose the ability to list items on the vendor, but the vendor will not be destroyed. Paying maintenance so the vendor is healed up will reenable the ability to list items.

And with all that hard work finally completed and the communitiy goals reached, Csin took his glasses off and headed downstairs for a good-sized snifter of brandy.
He later claimed that the tears in his eyes were from brandy-fumes, but few merchants believed him..

I am dizzy with relief knowing that thisone is coming. I am sure that this will be one ofthe most popular changes for the players since the game started!

Now if only they'd fix the vendors so they weren't so random. And I can't tell you how disappointed I was to find out that the 3PO vendor keeps coming out pink.. Sigh.

WAY TO GO MARQUIE! I know I'm not a merchant yet, but I always eye the profession I'm working towards, and I'm glad to see some important things are getting fixed before I get here.
