I can't answer most of those, but I can answer one of them. The merchant does not receive an email when you offer something on their vendor. If they are logged in, they receive on on-screen notification. Otherwise, they won't know about it until they check manually. If it's something important and/or time sensitive, it's not a bad idea to send the merchant an email to alert them that you have offered them something.

Yes. It is transfered to the vendor

You have to go back and retrieve it from the vendor. If it is ignored it expires (I think in 7 days but they may have changed that)

Yes, unfortunately. That needs to change.

You have to check them manually unless you happen to be online and paying attention. A system message is generated when an offer is made.

Yes it does get deleted and that is a shame. I wish it were programmed that when you deleted a vendor it forced you to buy any items in the offers screen or still waiting to be retrieved..but that would be a griefable situation because I could put junk in your vendor for a very high amount forcing you to pay me or leave your vendor up until it went away..since I can re-offer it all the time I could keep your vendor in place for a while until something was done about me by the CSR assuming they wanted to get involved. We would need some way to prevent this from being griefable.

Every single time I had to move my vendors someone had offered junk on it for crazy amounts of money. I am glad I didn't have to buy them lol. I sent a mail to the person, giving him 2 days, and then I deleted the vendor as he didn't come to retrieve them. I would say that offering items is a risk that people take and most of the time when it is serious offers there is no problem at all. It's the people offering junk that are a problem really, and well I don't sympathize much for them to be honest.

The only thing I would appreciate is to have a mail when there is an offer.

Yea the email needs to happen I really wish I understood why it doesn't. I almost get an email saying "D00dz3421 Smiled at "Windae Weapon Powerups and Repair Tools" why can't I get an email that says he offered me 1 unit of steel for 30000000 credits?

Server load??? Of course they could get rid of our stupid withdraw emails...

I don't get the impression it was server load but there must have been some reason..or maybe it was just legacy..you remember for a while you didn't get emails when your factory finished either.

I love it how we get emails:

• when we place a structure - yeah thanks, had no idea I just did that.


• when we buy an item - yeah, unless I have short-term memory loss, I think I can remember to retrieve the item.

But none when someone offers an item on the vendor!

I just delete all those anyways... I do a /mailsave and delete away.

I think am easy solution to this problem would be to move all offers, and all items waiting to be retrieved to the nearest public bazaar, as items waiting for pickup (of cause informing the owner about this).
This would not harm the merchant, and would not harm the customers/suppliers.
I do not think that should so difficult to implement.
