Thread: Can vendors wear special edition goggles?

I just tried this on a human vendor and it worked. I suppose the Wookiee can't because the goggles are not flagged for Wookiees.

/segoggle put a new pair in my inventory, but the vendor retained the goggles.

Darn ! Too bad I don't have the SE, else I could give all my vendors them. That would look awesome with their rebel marine armor !!!

Oh wow! I never thought of trying that! Brilliant! Finally, a good use for the ugly goggles. I only like one pair, the others are icky-looking. Oooh, but they do look awesome on Ithorians. I tried that in the JtL beta and the goggles alter to fit their faces. Looks really cool!

Dang it. *logs back in to give her Ithy vendor some goggles*

Aww.

SE goggles Test:

Ithorian says: *waves off* I can't wear that. It's too small. Can't you find some proper Ithorian clothing?

Twi'lek says: Thanks for the snazzy new threads, boss!

*goes into back room to make more test vendors*

Add edit: Really. Testing vendors and SE Goggles. Interesting. Taking screenshots too. Will post results andimage linksshortly.

Note: The Pink 3PO will not accept them, of course, but when you try to drag the goggles over the droid vendor, the cursor icon turns into the No circle. If you drag the goggles over the Ithorian, the cursor icon is the hand, but it says it can't wear them. Hmm.

Ithorians and Wookiees wave you off. The Aqualish, Bith, Gran and Ishi Tib all accept the goggles, but there are bad clipping issues. On the Bith the goggles are there. Inside his eyes.

That Devaronian looks just a little too sure of himself now that he's got some fancy shades.

Oh yeah. Definitely a bug.

Still fun, tho.

Of course, I would hope nothing happens to the vendor if they revert.

I'd still like to know what happens to them after a server reset, tho.
