I enjoy being a Ranger.
I enjoy being a Merchant.
I don't have much time to play, and every time I log in, all my play time is spent dealing with vendor stock, namely, trying to put stuff back up for sale. I have a lot of my own stuff and I inherited another shop's stock, so it's a lot of work, even after selling a lot of stuff off.
I never get to be a Ranger anymore!
So, Sony, I will give you a dollar--a whole SHINY NEW DOLLAR--for a restock button. Especially if we can shift-click with it.
Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase? I've been good all year.

I offer my dollar too! What a pain to log in and have to restock 350 items. So much for play time.

after all, all the items that come off the vendor keep their given prices ... if they could make it where when you restocked any item with a "seller's description" kept the description given, that would be nice too. I dont think a general command wher eyou could restock from across the galaxy is approporiate.... it would be nice, but not very profession oriented. I think it should be a command given when you open your vendor on the "available items" page. You have the option currently to "sell" and "retrieve". Just let us highlight them all and "restore" too. cant be that hard.

O yes .. the Restock takes to much time .. I might even pay ya two dollars for a "restock" button.
actully not a bad Idea ... if any Dev reads this a Good Idea would be to "Chargeor Tax" us for our Vendors to Restock items on their own depending on how many are in your stockroom. thats and Awsome Propsal!

If not a general restock button, what about just the option to highlight & select several items at once? That way we can relist everything that's the same price at once?
I'll see that dollar & raise you 2

AMEN!! My 6 vendors dumped product for over two hours straight last night. I still have to log back in and relist items tonight, because after two hours I got fed up with the vendor vomit overload, and the lag created by the persistent "You have new mail" messages.

I inherited someone else's stock and now have something like 4,000+ items. And a whoooooooooole lot just expired.
I've done almost nothing but restock or check harvs for my past 10 hours of playtime. It's annoying enough that I'm seriously considering selling off the bulk of my stock cheap just so I can get some time in, you know, PLAYING, and sticking to just bulk goods and scouting supplies.

I will give two dollars for that! My vendors keep getting more diverse with what they offer and i m approaching the 1k mark for items to sell. I dread having to restock them.

Relisting items is what I hate most of everything in SWG. Having a easy way to relist items would increase my gaming experience a lot!
like this: Multi select items in stockroom, hit relist button and all selected items is put up for sale with their original price/description

you got me on this band wagon.. especially for putting in descriptions and having them retain.
But a word of advice for vendor restocking.. dont restock the whole mass at once or,, once a week make a restock day,, take down a ton of same priced items and then restock them. If you do this once a week you will have a stock day and wont get that dreaded 500 items falling at the same time.instead you will have say 200-300 fall once a week. it wont take that long espeically if theyare grouped in price ranges,, soo you can repost things as they fall.
If possible do this at the same time every week, you can stock one priced item, for 15 mins, wait5 mins,, then do the next and soo on.. it helps a ton. but even if you cant do it like that,, just having your stock broken up over the month is much better : )
