This might be a stupid question, but I was wondering if you get more exp if you have more than one vendor running, or if it's still just 100xp an hour no matter how many vendors are up.

Well I'd say no as i don't get hourly xp anymore from any of my vendors, but apparantly some think they still get it. (my guess is they don't they just don't realize they don't cause they get enough customers to cover it up)

i am3/4 thru the merchant tree...i only set up my vendors yesterday...before that they where either just in my inv or sitting in the back of my private home not ever intialized...i think i get about 10K XP a day

I'm getting xp from my lone vendor which has never had a thing on it.

I shut down my shop (made it private), but Ileft my vendors running. They are away from the door so nobody can use them. I still get XP for them.

I have 5 vendors running, and seem to get 50 MXP per hour.. If no-one uses them

However there will be an increase in MXP for the more vendors you have.. This is because we get 50MXP? per time someone accesses your vendor, so I f you have 5 vendors thats 250MXP if someone looks in them all, as opposed to 50MXP if you only have the one ???

This is why it might appear that you get more MXP over time per vendor, when in fact its justincreased due to the number of accesses.

I no longer appear to get the hourly rate either, have gone for 8+ hours with no increase in merchantXP. Also have had a friend try to access both merchants within the same house, and just got the one time hit of 50 merchant xp, not 50 per merchant looked at. Both of these are different from some listed above heh.

Still have no idea how gaining merchant xp works LOL

Well I don't know why merchants don't give me xp. I only get it from people visiting and I usually get over 10k a day as well, just none of it is hourly. I actually sit in my shop and if no one comes no xp comes, but as soon as someone comes in, sure enough 50xp for access fee, 50xp for visiting vendor.

It would be good to know if you get more xp per vendor, because if you do then I would definatly go for management because it would ensure that I keep getting even more xp, otherwise I would probably go out one of theother blocks first because I like the idea of having funky vendors.

there seems to be a real lag with the merchant XP...sometimes i will see it go up a little when i am on, like a hundred or so...other times i see nothing for hours...then BAM i will suddenly have 2K more...

And if you think other wise, placing a vendor with couple items cost next to nothing ..may as well hedge your bets or take the loss.

NO. it dont matter how many vendors you place.

If you dont get hourly exp anymore, then more vendors has absolutely nothing to do with it.
