Alright, so I'm grinding Merchant right now on Intrepid (almost done, yay!). Anyway, here's what I've done to entertain myself; I set up a vendor named "Nemoidian Bird Cages" and registered it on the planetary map. It contains 1,000 Nemoidian Bird Cages, each for sale individually for 100 credits.
The reason I've done this is to see which will happen first:
1) I sell 1,000 Nemoidian Bird Cages or,
2) The devs fix the Merchant profession so you have to keep the skills to have the skills.
Anyway, if you have a char on Interpid, the vendor is on Naboo at -3491 4995. Feel free to drop by and pick up a Nemoidian Bird Cage or just laugh when in 6 months I still have bird cages (and no merchant skills) and the devs still haven't addressed this exploit.
(There are also some "legitimate" vendors there with Smuggler, Artisan, Tailor, BE stuff and more...so feel free to clean those out before I drop Merchant.)
Well, hopefully this makes a few of you real Merchants laugh, cause that's really the only reason I did it, cause I find it funny. Good luck Merchants, you'll get your day sooner or later!

ok, it sort of is funny when you are just selling bird cages.

Please tell me you're joking about 100 credits being cheap. If people are really selling these useless things for more than that I'd be amazed.

Well it is a master artisan craftable.. 
I don't remember what I sold one for the last time I sold one. I bet if I made them and put them on the vendor they would sell though. People buy crap like that to fill space in their houses.

Yeah, just like any other piece of furniture I suppose. Except for some odd reason this one is given at Master Artisan (been trying to figure that out for awhile now). Meh, not looking to make any money I just laugh everytime I walk into the guild hall and see "Nemoidian Bird Cages." Not to mention the fact that people are actually buying them.
