Thread: PLEASE add the ability to ID vendors
That was the most cumbersome thing I think I could image doing in a game (worse than the jedi grind, I know first hand) and now i only have about 10 more vendors I need to replace to make them look more inline with my shop.
Please, please please add the ability for ID's to be able to ID vendors. I would much rather have spent 30 minutes searching for an ID and would happilly pay them well to do it. At least I would know I would be happy with what I got in the end. Plus my next 10 vendors means about 5 hours of my time just to place them.
I know this has already been requested but I really think this should be towards the very top of the list for features to add for the merchant profession. Not only would it help us but it would also create a larger demand for ID's (which is a really cool but rarely needed profession).
On a seperate note...
At the very least we need to be able to pick a vendor type, race, sex, and then be able to refresh the vendor toon until theres one we like.. basically the way the character creation works when creating a new character. I think this method would be far less effective than working with an ID to modify vendors. It doesn't add any interdependance (multiplayerness) to the game.

I know, this was just my midnight rant after wasting time on a frustrating and boring task that I can't beleive exists in its current form. I did read the sticky prior to posting this but I was somewhat dissapointed to not see this item at the top of the list.

bumped to the top, hmmm...don't know think it being in the top 10 {#6 actually} is plenty enought towards the top
especially since it is not only on our list for Merchant but for Image Designers as well.
Anybody know if it;s possible to get a vendor with the Princess Leia ear-muff style hair? I've gone through about 50 different attempts so far, and haven't seen that style come up yet. Not sure if I'm just having bad luck and should keep trying, or if that style isn't even possible on a vendor.
Would definitely love the ability to ID vendors...I'm setting up a new shop now. One of my vendors is going to be a "Famous Costumes" shop, selling outfits that match Luke, Han, Leia, etc...thought it would be cool if I could set up all the vendors in my shop as models for the outfits. Definitely a lot of work, but I did manage to get a somewhat chubby Luke Skywalker the other day.

yes leia does definately appear, after a day of making a few hundred {don't ask i get bored sometimes} I can so most honestly eveyone gets randomed in.
