This dialogue can be in the form of forums posting. However it needs to be done, you, the devs, have allowed Doc to be the brunt of a lot of the hard work processing through all this, but in the end he can come to you with suggestions and you can decide to just ignore him...We need direct dialogue with you...in a civil manner. This issue with the vendors as well as some of the underlying issues, ie the macros needs to be addressed with people that actually make the decisions...if nothing else we will know for sure we are talking to the people that make the decisions and that our views have been seen instead of arbitrarily ignored. Devs, let's talk...you are looking at a massive exodus of games if you don't. I know you don't like hearing that but it's the truth...just look at the forums.
I know people are posting like mad so please don't post...just bump if u feel like it.

Thunderheart wont show up because of all the flaming. He's already stated that he refuses to read anything that is not positive.
He would look and be like, "omg people aren't happy with this nerf, butthese forumstoo negative for me; I'm not going to respond until they say they all like it"

Well I'm sorry but they are dealing with real people who have real emotions. They should grow a little thick skin and not let it get to them. If they can't handle hearing the responses to their actions then in my humble opinion that makes them cowards that hide behind a wall afraid to come out. I'm sorry but it's just the way I feel. I'd like to have them post a list of "reasons why". I dont even want to reply. I just want to know why. I can't offer solutions to the problem if I dont know what the problem is. At this point all I've heard are speculations. Database, crafters having too much money, attempt at controlling the economy. Which is it? One of them? All of them? Something else entirely? I find that people act irrationally when faced with irrational occurances in thier life. As to say, an irrational cause produces and irrational effect. I would be much more calm and rational if I knew exactly why they are doing this. That way I could (a) think about it (b) form my opinions on it (c) either agree or offer my idea of a possible solution to the problem. As it is now I'm walking around in the dark.

Again, TH won't respond to you.
It will be months maybe years before you see his sorry carcass on this forum. He has managed to piss off the largest most important segment of the Star Wars community. I have posted this before, but, merchants and crafters hold this game by the short hairs.
Stop crafting, stop selling. If you do that you will kill this game, end of story.
I for one, am all in favor of a merchant/crafter union that does a work stoppage. I have a BE toon and I am willing to stop. Don't sell. Make your vendors private, move them into guild halls and shut the doors to the public.
move them to private homes lock the door.
IF you could do this, the outrage would hit the ceiling. SOE would be finished unless they listened.
I personally, have written and sent a letter to SONY and Lucasarts detailing (yes an old fashioned letter) the horrible customer relations that are the hallmark of Thunderheart and the Development team. I believe we all need to do the same thing. Let's bury SONY in paper. It is obvious they don't read these forums.

It's Monday morning... They are probably trying to think of an approach before posting something right now. Give them some time... They can't ignore this problem, it's everywhere on the forums and correspondents are pushing the issue as well. Just give them a few hours.

So is this Merchant Re-vamp and stock limiting the 'Big Suprise' you've been promising us tailors for months now?

No, it's what they spent all their time on instead of the smuggler revamp.
