I have let a guy put a vendor in my mall and he hasn't stocked it for two weeks. He has a "Please read Me" back pack up for 99999999 credits.

Is there a way I can remove his vendor from the structure since I own it? I've tried emailing the guy, sending him tells, ext.. he hasn't been online for over two weeks and his stock ran out about two weeks ago.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Unfortunately there is no way to remove someone else's vendor. You just have to wait until the pack auction expires and time runs out in it's stock room. The vendor will eventually disappear.

In the meantime, place an empty pack directly in front of it stating the vendor is empty. I've seen this done many times.

Contracts.

1. Vendor owner agrees that if his vendor is empty for X amount of time, a CSR may remove the vendor from my mall.

Simple.

Unfortunately, is not implemented.

If its empty for more than 14 days its supposed to go away without a CSR.

You don't have to wait till the items in the stockroom expire.
Once the last item drops to the stockroom the 2 weeks counter starts to tick, and 2 weeks later the vendor is gone, no matter if there are 1000 items in the stockroom

Unless of course he comes back and relists his "Please Read Me" backpack...

And I think its a good thing that you can't remove vendors owned by others, would open a HUUUUGE door for grieving.

To keep him from coming back and restocking his readme pack, could you ban him from the building?

Well, I'm better than dirt! Well, most kinds of dirt.
I mean, not that fancy store-bought dirt.
That stuff's loaded with nutrients. I can't compete with that stuff.

That would likely be considered griefing and CSR's would probably take action against you.

I usually just put a backwards book case over em with the label "Vendor Out of Order". That's only after quite a bit of leeway, though.

If you ban him from the shop he can just set up another vendor ANYWHERE in the universe and restock the backpack from the stockroom with the "Galaxy" view.

Most it works best to send a NICE email, asking him politely to remove his vendor if he doesn't plan on restocking, and giving him the option to put it back up in your mall once he's back in buisness.

Usually works a lot better than threats or insults or just banning people.

Same with the bookcase etc. send him an email and tell him, that you remove the bookcase if he wants to restock his vendor again.

I would agree but if it's been empty a month or more, I think the merchant's intentions are pretty clear. If someone doesn't have the decency to remove an unused vendor, any courtesy extended to them is a bonus.

I never even considered that but it's true - he could stock from anywhere!

I'm not usually for banning anyone unless they're truly awful, but it is a thought, although as Elyssa said, you may get in trouble for it. Do CSRs ever help out in a case like this by removing an unused vendor if the owner won't reply?

Also, with the new maintenance-from-your-bank account change, does that include vendors or just structures? I'm guessing it doesn't include vendors, but if it does, that might bring him back in if he starts getting the system emails about it.

From what I've experienced, McSassy, the CSRs will only remove a vendor if the owner's account is inactive.
