Thread: Merchant Grinding Macro (Yes, it is possible!)
/pause 5;
/ui action defaultButton;
/pause 55;
/sit;
/pause 5;
/stand;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
just add
/target Vendor
to the top off the script
set pause to 200
and it will loop itself every ten min
You can also get this to work with a row of vendors. If you have several vendors all together and do /target vendor; you'll get one of them targeted, seems to be random. As far as I can tell there's no way to use /target to get the other vendors however. If yourefresh each vendor in turn manually, and start with one that you don't get when you /target vendor; before you run your macro you can then use /ui action cycleTargetPrev; to get the last target then run your defaultAction command then move to the next vendor with /ui action cycleTargetPrev; then end the cycle with /target Vendor to start the whole thing over.

It adds some amount of difficulty trying to cycle too if it isn't necessary. I tend to follow the K.I.S.S. (KeepIt Simple Stupid)principles whenever possible.

is that true? I thought if u have 2 vendors u can get 100 exp. Please someone let me know I would be grateful.

From Draznar's merchant guide:
Merchant XP (Sometimes comes in lumps):
- 150 XP per hour per vendor [Received in lumps whne vender Exists*] (Can place first at Bus 3)
- 50 XP per view of vendors by person [Must click refresh or a category. Veiwing multiple vendors does not increase] (Can get every 10 minutes)
- 50 XP per visitor per house for Entry Fee [Can be on multiple houses that you own] (Can place at house terminal at Bus 1)
- NO XP for purchases/bazaar ... none ... zip ... nada
- Suggestion: Go up management first to get per vendor xp. Then Adv 3 for planetary map.
- *Just like harvesters, vendors only exist when a player can see it. When there are no players arround the vendor drops from the servers memory. When another player comes into the house the vendor will load again, experience over time will be updated, and the vendor will "exist" till it unloads again.
Unless this has changed, this suggests that you only get the experience from someone viewing any vendor once in 10 minutes. A simple test would be to have a friend view two vendors while you are monitoring your XP.

cool, so each house with acess fee u can get exp from? so if I have 5 houses with access fees I will get 250 exp from that same person for runn ing in all 5 houses every 10 minutes?

Dumb Question?
Does this macro give XP if the vendors are yours? Or do you need a non-owner to use the vendors to get the XP?
