Well I put down 7 new vendors (got rid of the old ones as well) last night before this morning's patch. everything was working fine. Now it tells me I must remove a vendor to be able to "manage them"
"You have more vendors than you can manage. You must either gain sufficient skill to manage the vendors you have or remove one or more vendors before being able to place items for sale."

Theres the exact quote.

Anyone else having this trouble? I am 3/0/4/4 merchant and it even says I have +9 to vendors in my skills list doohickey.

Anybody got any advice?

Came here looking for the answer myself..

Had up 6 vendors before the patch, placed 3 more yesterday. Everything went smooth till I went to list more items for sale just now ( only at the 2.6k items listed, plus Im master )

Hopefully theyll get it fixed soon

Nice to know its not just me... kinda.. thats kinda sadistic sorry... I just deleted the cutest wookiee vendor ever to see if it fixed stuff. =(

Thanks for not letting us ID vendors either. I sure enjoyed standing spawning vendors for 2 hours guys.

I had 5 vendors before the publish, didn't place anymore and am also having the problem despite having Management 4.

So unless 5 > 9, something is really wrong here.

same problem here /bump trying to get answers

well i have the capabilites for 4 vendors and i currently only have 2 vendors up and only roughly 250 items and it won't let me add any more items to my vendors... just for reference i have 0011 in merchant

Master merchant, have 6 vendors all pre-patch. Yesterday I could stock just fine. Today it tells me I have too many vendors and must delete some. I have items that fell into the stockroom overnight that I can't relist, and a backpack full of new crates that I can't put up for sale. There are 1958 items total on the 6 vendors, which is well below my limit.

I am also having the same problems on Tempest. Yesterday I could list fine, in fact I was listing and relisting until I filled my 3 vendors to the item limit. This morning I tried to relist some auctions that ended and it wouldnt let me, saying that I was over the limit. Then I tried getting management I which raised my item limit to 1250, but I still couldnt list. Since I could also place another vendor now, I created one and placed it. However it wouldnt let me initialize it, and said that now I was over the vendor limit! Why could I create one then?

Also, I had only one vendor registered on the planetary map, but it doesnt show. I have another one in the same tent, both have a little over 300 items on them, but the one that should show on the map is charging me more for maintenance, so I assume that it is still registered. Please help before I start losing items!

There is a new bug that will not allow me to operate my vendors at all. Day 1 after patch 10. First is I am not on the map now DAY Two I can not use my vendors. Satiates of me and my vendors not on the map and non operational. So what ever fix last night you did to get me on the map undo and try again and mad things worse. >>>>

I am a master merchant so 6 vendors all under 200 items in each what does this mean. Let me answers my Question for you “YOU MAD THANGES WORSE.” With the lack of good testers on the test center to find these dug.

I am a master merchant. I have 6 vendors in operation with about 3000 items between them. I also was able to stock my vendors yesterday. Now I'm getting the same message as the rest of you and am no longer able to add new items or restock old items.

I am well within the listed parameters. I think a pretty nasty bug has reared its' head. (Unless the devs snuck in a rule change last night LOL).
