Doc,
Can you please verify by what is meant by untouched?
1. Touched by the owner in some way? Is it good enough for us just to access it or is there something particular we have to do?
2. Touched/looked at by any player?
Personally I thought it was going to be empty "and" untouched. The "or" is really throwing me off.

I am thrown off from the "or" ...
But, as long as the "touched" is not limited to "touched by owner" I am cool.
Hopefully "touched" has no implied premiss and that it means "clicked on" by anybody.

I REALLY need clarification on this. On Sept 15, I got for ANOTHER annual training, the last one was 17 days. Take a wild guess what that's going to mean to me!!!!! I have 6k items across my vendors ( tailor/armorsmith). I've been reducing, fine. I have a second account that almost master merchant as well, so can get around it that way. HOWEVER, if I come back, and all my vendors are deleted, that will be 2 accounts canceled the next day. They will be restocked the night before. I have no heartburn with empty for 2 weeks delete, but if there are items on it? DELETED? How many times do we have to point out that people take 2 week vacations? Wasn't this the reason they finally upped that stupid 7 day restock to 30 days?? So casual players could compete?

You're going to lose a lot of stuff, even from the old system, unless you unload ALL your items that have less than the 17 days to go before they get dumped into the stockroom.

No, to avoid that the last time, I relisted everything on all my vendors, across the serversI play, the day before I went on training. I lost a couple items that decided to delist themselves anyway ( nice bug), but out of over 6k items it was only 3 or 4 on Kauri, and of 300 items on Chimaera,I lost 2. I also know it wasnt a case of forgetting to unlist something, as I had to consolidate all my stuff to one new vendor. So being a brand new vendor, and having everything moved to it, meant nothing was missed ( old vendors deleted).

This question was asked yesterday in the In Live forum, I'll ask again today in the correspondant forums to see if we can get a clarification. There was, early in the proposal, an idea about removing vendors after a period of time (during which the merchant hadn't visited them) to prevent merchants getting around the code that checked for their skill level. This shouldn't be necessary however with the way it currently works.

Must be nice to have that much time, or so few items!

That much time.... as I said, over 6k items on Kauri alone. It took me 3 full hours just to delist, and move it all to a single vendor in my house ( same city, so I could pull everything out of the new vendors stockroom, and relist on the spot, rather than running back and forth).

Just to clarify about the 'empty' part - if the vendor remains empty (ie. no items on it) for 2 weeks, the vendor gets deleted?
I'm asking because I have a couple of vendors in a free vendor mall which is very well setup and decorated. However, a couple of players who set up their vendors a few months ago have left the game but their vendors remain. This is something of an annoyance as the mall owner has had to hide them by placing cupboards on those vendors so that customers don't waste their time on them.
With this new change, can we expect those vendors to go *poof* in a couple of weeks?

In theory, it looks like they should "poof." By past experience, it could be that all the stocked vendors will "poof" out of deference to the empty vendors.
