Has anyone tested it to see if un-initialized NPC vendors DO in fact walk around?

I want to make sure before I begin scouring Tatooine for my vendor.

4 vendors just disappeared from my house but 2 vendors in a nearby house didnt move

maybe they leave your house/shop during the slow times to have a smoke and get lost. you could hire a bounty hunter. Or maybe they are out gathering resources and items for you to sell, closing those killer deals for you...oh wait, I just had a reality check, nevermind

I can confirm that the do the shuffle step.

One of our more creative people need to write a story about the missing vendor. I liked the change hiring to firing post.

Do you provide a smoking area for your vendors? And you are giving them a 15-minute break every two hours as required by Imperial statute, right?

Maybe there was a union rally? I'll bet they're upset at having their pay cut from 2K per hour down to 15....

They could have been mugged by roving bands of thieves..did you see a Wookie Brawler outpost nearby after the disappearance?

You would think they would be happy the devs just upped their pay by 1500%.

After the pet stone archways that wandered about in UO, I wouldn't assume that terminals can't move... they might have littlewheels or something.
