Thread: Broken bazaar/vendor system

I caught this problem yesterday, submitted a bug report, and promptly told CSRJorge on chat of the problem.
Of course, he dismissed me with a "there is no known problem" and please.... you guessed right
submit a ticket.
I caught this early, soon as the server went live.. instead of heeding the call, i got the generic- sugar coated
blow off response.
1. my items did not show on bazaar at all, yet i was still capped with "25"
2. looking into this furtherm the only thing showing on the bazaar at all, were thing placed only after server reset.
3. everything i stocked yesterday, is not showing today, nor are the offers given or received.
Can we ever expect anything to work correctly???
Hell yes im pissed off!!!

On bloodfin I just loaded 50 crates of grenades on my vendor. I went to withdrawl 2 from sale and they went into my stockroom. Saw them in the stockroom hit retrieve. Nothing in my inventory stockroom correctly showing only 1 item still in it. Go back pull two more crates watched it go into the stockroom with my one item (got the emails of withdrawn sale as well) and then all three things disappered off my screen. Logged off came back in same problem.
Had a friend go buy a crate. Got an email of sale and they didnt get their crate. Went to open a CSR ticket and entered the mandatory search phase "Merchant stuck" because i knew my answer wouldn't be in the KB. Its stuck there I can't even open a ticket.
This is on Bloodfin on Dantooine 1300m from the Imperial Starport if they need to nail down which server is the problem.

Problem is on Bloodfin and the devs are aware are working on it

You can expect it... but you'll be disappointed a lot.

Radiant is also broken.
Click on Bazaar = Unavailable
Click on my vendors = Intializing, initiallizing, initializing...
B R O K E N
Please find the gremlins responsible and condemn them to randomly generate a vendor without any day-glo colors on it.

I got problems on Kauri. I've had 3 customers today alone try to buy things. They pay the money, but then they are told "Could not retrieve item because it no longer exists" or "item no longer exists" or something to that extent. Someone "bought" 4 crates of thakitillo from my vendor today that I removed from my vendor 2 days ago. I will submit a bug on this, but I wanted to say I'm seeing problems over here also.

Ditto on Kauri. I'm losing myinventory and my customers are getting annoyed to say the least.

This has been happening on bloodfin as well. I bought a stack of resources for 1 mil and the exact same thing happened. Submitted a ticket this morning. When i logged in this afternoon the CSR told me to add a comment when I came back online for a reimbursement.... I did....6 hours later I'm still waiting.

Sorry to say this, but I'd almost rather be without vendors or bazaar than have them broken as they are here on Kauri. I offered 10 full crates of veghash, 7 full crates of thakitillo, and 10 more 10 item crates of veghash and 10 of 5... In short a lot of food was offered to his vendor. Then he in turn offered me 52k hide to my vendor which I was gonna use for making synthsteak. But When I looked today for the hide, it wasn't there. And then today, the veghash and thakitillo that I sold my friend through the offer was no longer on his vendor. Apparently he bought it then turned around and put it up for "sale" on his storage vendor. So we're both pretty upset with this situation. I've submitted a CSR ticket so we'll just have to see what happens next. I'm mad and I'll keep posting until they fix this.

My understanding was that there had been some post at least of Bloodfin's forums but it might have been from CS and not from a Dev.
I can tell you that I have talked to a CS supervisor who told me they were aware of the issues on Kauri, Bloodfin, and Radiant and were working with the Dev team on them and watching other servers for signs of the same problem. No word yet on what is causing it or a solution as of last night. I haven't talked to anyone yet this morning.
