Hi folks,
Thought I'd update you on the latest with the site outage. Basically the table that contains the Sales data has been locked open by another process on the box that hosts the website. Unfortunatley the server is shared with other users, so the web hosting company is looking into non-invasive fixes at the moment.
I'll keep you updated as I hear more news.
Thanks for sticking with me.

Hi,
Apologies for the extended outage this week, the full database has now been recovered. Please let me know if you experience any problems going forward.
Additionally, based on feedback from you, I have attempted to remove the adverts for credit sales.
Thanks for your patience over the last week.

Thanks for your kind comments, that's what makes it all worthwhile
Unfortunatley, I have some bad news, the swgsales database has disappeared again, I'm in contact with the support team of my webhost, and I'll give you an update as soon as.
When it does come back up, I shall be taking a backup and will look at including some resilience.
Apologies again.

My Mailsave in SWG has not worked for the last couple of weeks. It says it is retrieving the messages but then nothing ever actually gets downloaded into my local mail file and I never get a successful completion message in game. I have bugged it and reported to the CSRs who say they will look into it. I have been using The Merchants Friend software which requires the downloaded mailsave data. How did you get your mailsave to work?

Hmm I only have about 300 emails and I have used mailsave successfully with many more than that before. Does the /emptymail command clear out your ingame email or does that clear the local mail folder for your profile on your PC? I have tried to run the /mailsave command on both my accounts and even some of my friends have tried on theirs and it does not appear to be working. Anybody else havethe same problem within the last couple of weeks?
