I recently took up merchant to sell months of resources that I've been collecting. I set the vendor up, pay maint, initialize it, stock it with hundreds of thousands of rare/high OQ resources (many regularly going for 10-20cpu on my server) and check it throughout the day. I logged off to watch the Superbowl, log back in and now the vendor says "This terminal is malfunctioning." The CSR in the chatroom will offer no help, not even an explanation. The "Status" screen of the vendor shows its fully ready (14 days of maint, Operating Normally, etc).
Has this happened to anyone else and what did you have to do to correct it?

Wait for the server restart... If it doesn't come back up after that, then start to worry...

That's....disheartening to hear in the least.. I don't mean to rant but I don't play for hours and hours everyday, yet everything I've tried has been buggy.. 
Please tell me this isn't normal S.O.P. for vendors.. How will I ever be able to sell anything?

What's more aggrevating is that I logged for a little bit to do some RL stuff and when I logged back in my vendor worked for nearly 5 minutes.. I had a friend checking it out and then suddenly we were both getting the "This terminal is malfunctioning" message again.. /sigh

I have a vendor that suddenly "lost" everything, but I can see it when I look at the "area" instead of the specific vendor. Can't retrieve the items, but have been able to relist them for sale (because I do keep getting the emails that the auction has not been successful). This has been going on for almost two months now, and finally a CSR has showed up to tell me that the Dev's are looking into the problem, and they hope to have a solution.
Hope your items just show up again. Otherwise, turn in a ticket and start posting in the tech support forum. I tried being patient, and was just ignored for a long time.

Thank you for your replies.. I haven't lost anything yet other than the ability to sell anything since the vendor seems to work only 10% of the time..I'll try pulling everything off the vendor and starting over (that is if I can clear enough storage to hold all these items)..

Here's a less than desireable suggestion that I would try if so bugged:
Next time you get that 5 minute window, pull everything off the vendor, pull out your maintainance, destroy the vendor and start over with a new vendor.
If you get a csr reply, it's likely to tell you to do something very similar.
I personally haven't had tooo many bugs in a few months of being a merchant, but have heard a lot of others' grief.
Hope it starts getting better for you.

I've just become novice tailor, I am already master armoursmith and almost master weaponsmith.
My question is which tailoring linedo I follow to be able to make the reinforced fibre panels and synthetic cloth please?

You have the synthetic cloth schematic already, its in the novice tailor box
