What the heck is the deal with fat vendors...
I just spent an hour, created 30 vendors, and EVERY one was over 500 pounds of FAT flesh...
Is there a chance that slim attractive vendors can be made in this game or are there only fat ones???

All the slim, sexy ones work as fashion models.
Retail sales is for the 'aesthetically challenged' people.

Just because they're overweight doesn't mean they're not nice people.

I agree, there is something horribly flawed about the way NPC vendors are created. And I, as a Master Merchant, have also spent literally hours generating and deleting NPC vendors as they are created because they look ridiculous. I have 9 vendors at my shop now and, to get ones that looked reasonably attractive, I had to create and delete at least 300 rejects from my inventory. In the end, I settled for vendors with bright blue lips or mohawks, but at least they weren't 80 pounds overweight with pink hair and a purple beard.
I would like to propose something for the next merchant patch. Let masters design their NPC vendors like an Image Designer can change player characters. We are masters, afterall, have we not earned some cool perks here? Or, how about let Image Designers do work on vendors for us, just like they would on player characters? It would make us happy and give more work to the Image Designers out there.

I finally settled on "green haired Elvis"
If they'd just make it so ID's could come in and ID the vendors (at least the player species vendors since that functionality is already in the game), all would be right with the world.
Maybe even let them "customize" the droid vendors. I don't like the pink protocol droid!

I always get those oldshriveled grandmothers with that dirty look on their face, which kinda says "Take me and I'll die on you when you've put up your most expensive stuff!"

There should be minimized Vendor creation options..
First box : NPC, Terminal, Droid, etc.
Second Box: Races...
Third Box: Gender
Fourth Box: Age: Young - Mid Aged - Old
Fifth Box: Slim - Mid Weight - Obese /giggle
Sixth Box: Height: Midget - Medium - Giant
Seventh: Punk Colors - Normal Colors (Normal colors returns color values to 'Character Creation screen like same on players)
Eight Box:: Name
For Godsake, they can give us a little more options on these.. OR at least give us a macro command to select eg. NPC - Human - Male at once ...
AND please... please.. please.. make facial hairs same color with normal hairs.. PLEASE I BEG YOU DEVS!
Ok, we are looking for vendors, we are hiring them, but can't we put 'specifications' to our 'job announces' on Holonet?

How about something like the new Image Design interface.
Just enable more options depending on merchant skill.
Non-player races wouldn't have as many adjustment options.
If the vendor name is rejected, it should NOT cause us to start over from scratch.
Then take it one step farther and apply this same functionality to allow Image Designers to re-design an in-place vendor.
Everybody wins and the galaxy becomes a prettier place.
Personally, I would love to be able to create a vendor that looks exactly like me so it looks like I'm the one selling my own stuff.
