Great to see that 'how it should be' and besides the ever present email does not deliver on time, it seems like that is actually how it is.
with one note:
If a vendor is “un-used” for a period of time, it becomes in danger of getting deleted. When this happens, the player will be sent an email warning. If the vendor continues to be unused after this warning, the vendor gets deleted.
- If a vendor WITH ITEMS goes un-accessed for 100 days it will become endangered. If the vendor WITH ITEMS goes another 100 days, it will be removed.
- If a vendor WITHOUT ITEMS goes un-accessed for 14 days it will become endangered. If the vendor WITHOUT ITEMS goes another 14 days, it will be removed.
needs to be interpretted and understood as 'with items for sell' not just 'with items', stock room does not count even if freshly put there.

Ok, here's the official word on how things SHOULD be happening:

- Vendors who go too long without being used will get deleted from the game. The only events that constitute use are placing a new item for sale on the vendor, or a customer buying an item from the vendor.
- If a vendor is “un-used” for a period of time, it becomes in danger of getting deleted. When this happens, the player will be sent an email warning. If the vendor continues to be unused after this warning, the vendor gets deleted. The only events that constitute use are placing a new item for sale or a customer purchasing an item.
- If a vendor WITH ITEMS FOR SALE goes un-accessed for 100 days it will become endangered. If the vendor WITH ITEMS goes another 100 days, it will be removed.
- If a vendor WITHOUT ITEMS FOR SALE goes un-accessed for 14 days it will become endangered. If the vendor WITHOUT ITEMS goes another 14 days, it will be removed.

- Stockroom: The stockroom holds items purchased through the offers screen, and items withdrawn from sale (either by your manually or expired by the 30 day timer) The stockroom has a 30 day timer. Anything in the stockroom beyond 30 days is subject to deletion. Be very careful about storing items in your stockroom.
- Caution: Be careful when deleting a vendor. You cannot withdraw items into the stockroom and delete the vendor and still retain those items. Any item for sale, in the stockroom, or waiting to be purchased (offers) or picked up will be deleted when you remove the vendor.
If not, please post info about your vendor (galaxy and location) so the proper people can be pointed toward it.
EDIT: Added some new information for the sake of clarification.
Any other behavior would be a bug. It would need to be reported (including ALL relevant information: vendor name and location, vendor owner, last known time an item was placed for sale, last known time an item was purchased, etc.) so that it can be investigated.

Under what scenariowould that first point ever kick in? I can't think right now..

Relisting from the stockroom doesn't appear to be considered an action that resets the inactivity timer so if you did nothing but relist items and made no sales for 200 days, your vendor will be deleted.
This is something that would likely happen to storage vendors though it's very hard to imagine that you wouldn't put at least one new item "in storage" at least once every 6 months.

Ah...ok, I thought relisting from the stockroom counted as an action. There you go hehe..

That sounds like a bug. Re-listing an item (no matter how it's done) should count as an action. They may say it's 'working as intended', but it's clearly a bug because I say so.

We all know it clearly is not considered an action as while we relist from stockroom we are booted for inactivaty

Part of the goal of this system was to discourage storage vendors.
Relisting from the stockroom without putting a new item up for saleAND havingno sales is solid indicator of:
1) a storage vendor or

Seriously, if you must have a storage vendor you have 200 days to list an item from inventory. I don't think that's too much to ask.

And if it's not a storage vendor, it's time to seriously re-think your business plan.

Elyssa thanks for clearing that up. I was concerned because we fought pretty hard against the stupid 14 day rule when the vendor was fully stocked and it appeared they had changed it back without notice. Glad to see that it hasn't been changed.

They've been around since the patch (10?) that instituted vendor limits at least.
