The majority of correspondents are vastly underappreciated and do a very difficult job. I don't think anyone of us can appreciate how singularly frustrating it must be to fill their shoes.
So this is my way of sending a huge "THANK YOU" to Doc for his tireless efforts on our behalf in getting the vendor changes to an acceptable point. (And kudos to TH and the devs for working with him on this as well.) We may not all be happy with them, but like many, it's more than I thought we would get, and I am perfectly fine with the changes.
I think Doc is going a great job, and I, for one, appreciate it. Feel free to post a response if you agree.

Thank you for your support. I never give up fighting for merchant issues. The real power of merchants however comes from all of you who took the time to post constructive suggestions here on the forum. Those don't go unnoticed and they lend weight to my statements to TH in private. This wasn't my plan, My plan wasn't this ambitious. It turned out better than I had hoped for and frankly anyone looking at this realistically has to agree that it is a pretty good deal for merchants.

I think Doc has done a great job for us.
While I still disagree with limiting the vendors, I feel the Dev's offered amounts that are acceptable and will allow the economy to maintain and even flourish given the expanding of vendor numbers. I know Doc had alot to do with these higher numberscoming about. Thanks Doc for your service, it is much appriciated.
Yours,

i also appreciate that DocSavag spent efforts in the communication with the devs, but would like to comment on the current proposed changed more negativly the most you merchants would do, because it negates the need of crafters to have signficant storage capacity. Forcing people into your profession does to my eyes do more harm than good. I personally would like to go for a Architect/Armoursmith/Tailor Template and would favour to work on a custom order only basis.Of course i could compromise on mastering Merchant instead of one of the afore-mentioned professions but that does not change the fact that i do not want to be a truely devoted mass-items selling merchant and i would "abuse" ingame merchant only abilities for my purpose of getting more storage.
The other aspect the i see ommitted in the concept is, that bazaar is not a valid instrument for channeling everybodies need for remote transactions. Bazaar can only serve as marketing tool and as a platform for provosion of new player with basic items.
Therefore i commented the latest revision of the changes still negatively
Please make comments on my proposals
@DocSavag: If you know any other true reasons, why devs are working on vendors, please let me know.
