Hi all,

Iused to be an imp faction player & doctor, dragging incapped players was not a problem. Especially whenI grouped with players from both factions on hunts.

RecentlyI went back to being neutral and tried dragging my friends when they incapped, but I keep getting this message "It is unwise to help this player". Now I know of another player who was an Imp and turned neutral as well who has encounteredthis problem.

Both of us still have positive Imp faction (+1000) and negative Reb faction (-4000). We tried dragging both Imp and Reb factioned players, both times it failed. I think we were only successful on neutral players (I forgot now).

I am at a lost as to why this happens. Is it a 'feature' or a bug? Must I be aligned to a faction before a medic can actually drag incapped players?

Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me.

This changed a Publish or 2 ago.

Neutrals cannot drag overts at all.

Neutrals cannot drog Coverts w/ TEFs

Coverts get a TEF from dragging other TEFd coverts...and from dragging overts (IIRC.)

Helps to fix soem of the turret and base killing exploits (only like 34 more to go!)

I am neutral.

I have always been neutral.

When I attempt to drag ANYONE, I receive the message: "It would be unwise to help such a patient."

This happens with coverts, with or without TEF. This happens with neutrals as well.

As far as the system is concerned, it seems that every neutral player is considered an overt or TEFfed player where /dragincapacitatedplayer is concerned.

This has got to be a bug. Otherwise there is no point to this ability.
