Thread: Drag Incapacitated Character Baffles Me.

I got this skill a long time ago, unfortunately every time I've tried it I don't drag the corpse anywhere. The first time I tried it it cost me and my friend our life trying to pull him out of the way of 2 carrion spats.

I thought drag incapacitated character worked like dragging a corpse, did I miss the meeting where this was explained? The macro is set up right, it says "attempting to drag" but it never goes anywhere.

Any help on this would be great, if it works like dragging a corpse this skill is beyond awesome. If I'm missing someting like I have to stand somewhere for like a whole 10-30 seconds, it totally defeats the purpose of having it, and I'll just throw it in the trash with medical forage.

Its a pretty useless skill, you can just heal someone to get them out of incapacitation. I guess the only reason you might want to use it is to pull them away a bit from the main fight and then heal them so they dont get aggro and die instantly (you die after 3 incaps in 10 minutes).

On using the skill, I have no idea, ive never tried.

Drag incap is nice in certain cases but otherwise useless...

First of all the graphics is bugged...you are actually dragging them...u just dont see them being moved..but i have dragged then stimed and had a player wake up in another spot...

WHen is drag incap useful? to drag people out of ranges of turrets...

it you stim a person or the person wakes in the range of a turret...boom..instant incap again...

Thats assuming you CAN drag them...There's always that teeth grinding, hair pulling, knuckle cracking, head pounding message that we all know and love:"It would be unwise to help such a patient."

In PVP the command really shines. It's a big help to first pull someone out of the middle of a confusing battle before rez'ing them or dropping a stim on them.

Or even more commonly having to pull a buddy back into the safety of a faction base so that you can put him back together without getting shot at by the bad guys outside your base, and even better you can grab him from 30m away. That means less personal risk to yourself as well. You can get to 30m start dragging and run the other way with the body.

It's even a form of entertainment, to just drag the corpses of your buddies around with you over long distances.

I think everyone is missing the point. To Deathblow someone you need to be like 8-15m max. If they arent using a macro or are at range than you just Drag them away. Also i noticed the FearTheGoats said "corpse". i never tried it but its likely you cant drag dead players, thats just disgusting.

I thought the same thing when I saw the thread, but noticed that the message was posted yesterday...

Edit: Aha, that said 200*3*, not 2004. My mistake... Well, don't mind me. (That's a new one to note.)
