I am going to set aside 52 points for Medic, and I was wonder if 4/3/4/0 would be the optimal use of those sp's.

I would have to say yes to that.
Some will argue that you may go 4/4/3 and use experimented down stim d's too. That's fine if you can find a supplier. So work out what you can and can't get your hands on, but with that kind of layout you're pretty well set either way.
