Thread: Noob Medic Armor?

I'm a noob medic/marksman/artisan and I am looking to buy some armor. I know some heavier armor may impede my abilities to heal and was wondering what noobie light armor I should be purchasing. I've looked all over the med faq's, boards and no answer.. please help.. Thanks!

Sadly for that kind of cash you wont get much unless you can find a fairly new player who needs to make stuff to get anywhere. You really need to know what you want to protect against. The best low end overall amour is Chitin, and it's fairly light. But for 8k you're not going to be getting very good stuff at all.
If you only need to protect against standard npc weapons (Energy weapons) then bone armour (Energyprotection) will do fine. Chitin protects against Kinetic, Energy, Blast and Acid damage.
