Thread: Where is best place to find groups???

I always here that the best place for xp is to hunt in groups. But time after time, I stand around with LFG on forever and I never get any invites. And when I do a search of others who are LFG, there is no one. By the way I am doing all this on Naboo. Should I change planet? Where should I go to get in groups on Naboo, or other planets???

Currently the state of the game really doesn't promote groups. Doctor buffs are at such strength that healers, especially those close to novice, are not needed in groups to heal people at all. The group will usually have a combat person with doctor skills with them, doing any healing they need. I think LFG is a bit underused because of this situation.
When the Combat Balance is finally under way (sadly delayed again), we should see a returning need for medics in groups. Until then, your best hope of xp is in cantina's healing dancers, medical centers healing the wounded, and ugh.. I wont mention the "red light district" of fun-removing methods of gaining fast xp.

I don't know about your server but on Bria there are tons of Squill hunting groups going out from Anchorhead. I started medic a couple days ago and I've already gotten fairly high in the skill tree going on Squill missions. I've never seen a doctor in any group I've been in because squill missions only pay 10k, which they can make in a little bit doing buffs, but you may get unlucky because a doc may also be grinding. Hope that helps.

As master nerf said most are solo groups. I have fun going to mos eisley since everyone starts there now and can always find a group of new players that need healed.

On my server Gorath there are tons of non solo rancor groups in dathomir, you should be able to get good exp there! or if you cant find a non solo one you can ask somone hunting nightsisters or somthing if you can join them but tell them you dont want loot.

Planet chat is good for that too. Try watching or posting a few messages in Planet sometime. I've been seeing it get used to build groups and alert people of spawns and such.

Don't use LFG try asking people if they want a medic along you'll quite often find they do, as you meet more people you'll be able to find groups more easily. Not every one enjoys fighting fully buffed I only use food buffs at the moment and even when fighting solo would love to have a medic around so I could eat more Ahrisa to keep the mind intact and have someone else look after my health and action.
If you want to do this get your combat skills up a bit as it will help the group to get better mission / keep at the same level. It's harder for an elite combat profession to get through HAM when attacking gubbers or the like
