Pretty much what the topic says, I'm a master medic and I can't figure out how to use them. Do I have to be an artisan?

You just need to be next to one when using your crafting tool. It gives you more scematics to choose from. Make sure you are using a food and chem crafting tool and station. You dont need any artisan to craft meds.

as the previous poster stated,

you just need to stand next to them and they will open a new range of Schematics for you,

However,

make sure you are using a food and chemical crafting KIT as well,

if you are still using your generic kit,

well,

you won't get the full line of schematics available to you.
