As you all know, medics often don't get the respect they deserve. What was the worst case of abuse in yout situation?

A Master CH walked into a Med Center once, left his pet there, and left. The pet had almost no health and it's maximum HP was 11,400. I healed it all the way up with a friend named Oopola. He came back, picked up the pet and left without a tip or even a thankyou.

What about you?

Out wondering around with a friend killing anything we see. We kill a peko peko and I heal us up only I can't heal him any longer. I get, "It would be unwise to heal this person." message. I log and try again, same thing. 2 things occure to me.

1. Who the #$%^ can tell me whom I can and can't heal?

and

2. Who the *&^# are the SWG DEVs' totell me whom I can and can't heal?

It was a bug that went away after we both logged, but it's not the first time I've come accross that message. I've encountered others whom I couldn't heal and gotten that message and they were neutal just like me. If I'm a reb or Imp and want to heal someone on the other side then I should be allowed to do it. That option should be taken out of the game. If I heal some guy that then shoots me then good for him, I'll put a bounty on his head for it.

I am almost master doctor now (two bars of crafting left), and i have to say that i have only had one bad experience with patients. One day in the med center a guy comes in and sits down on one of the beds. He then proceeds to send tells to all of the medics in the med center saying that he would pay 1000 credits if "you" healed him. Found this out after he was healed up and stands up and laughs, says thanks for the heals, and proceeds to leave. One of the other medics said "hey he told me he would pay me". What pissed me off about this was that the guy would stoop so low and lie! Needless to say i sent him some tells and let him know what i thought. He came back and challenged medics to a duel that one accepted and then he DB'd him. Uncool again!

Anyway..that is the only bad experience i have seen in the med center. I dont worry about the tips, thank you's, or people that go afk. I appreciate it when people say thanks or tip..i even laugh to myself when they tip 50 credits but that may be all they have. Truefully almost all patients i have had lately seem to be tipping.

I do hate the fact that factions get in the way of healing. It has kept me from doing any faction things since it narrows the patients down and makes it tougher to get xp. Now that the group of guys i travel with are all going factional i will have to too just to keep them alive . I can sell them stims on the bazaar but i cant give them any myself...very frustrating!!!

A CH walks in and says if anyone can heal pet, so i heal it, he leaves w/o saying Thank you, no tip either. Its not the tip that bothers me as ive got money but not saying thank you will put u on my iggy list

My worst experience came from not understanding the TEF system. An overt Imperial entered the med center and I began to heal him (I was Covert Imp). Then a bunch of Overt Reb's ran in and killed and DB'd us both. Lame....I did not want to PvP at thattime. Live and learn I guess.

One day I stopped in the med center to heal myself. This guy came in with pretty much fully black health and action bars. I figured i'd just work on my med xp on some of the others in the med center. Well, he took about 20 minutes to get back, and i started healing him up. When i finally got him back to full health, he told me that he had just spent all of his money on a house and couldn't afford to tip. It was just sheisty...i actually went out of my way to help this guy and then he blatantly lies to me. I don't go to the med center for tips anyway...i've resorted to combat missions for money.

Why don't you guys ask for tips up front.

I am Medic/CH so getting the XP isn;t a problem with me. Im capped at 30K and im sure 500K has gone to waste, if i ever went doctor i would have master in a week (Aside from the crafting).

But i think if i was ever siting in the med centre i would ask for a tip, and a decent one at that up front. Although i constantly heal people at startports to be nice, but thats just a few wounds. To heal up 2 black bars that take 20 mins, Tip up front please.
