Ok, so I've advanced to Org Chem IV and Pharm IV so I can make and use Stimpack-Cs. I just recently learned what experimenting does, so if I get lucky, I can make a stimpack-c with healing of 255ish. I checked out the bazaar and so Stimpack-Bs with healings of 277and up. I don't understand how people can make them. So I experiment with all my sub components? Does it matter what biological/inorganic items I use to make them? I think I'm just thoroughly confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those B's probably are using "Advanced components".. the worst quality advanced components are usually better than the best regular components.
Advanced components are severely limited by the quality of specific types of materials.. if Doonium iron is bad, or dantooine berries etc.
Adv. components require travel (with tickets to dangerous planets often being very expensive, or several flights away from current location... depending on where you are) and ofyten very dangerous planets.
Doctors also get more experimental points that can be used on basic components and finished meds.. so they can squeeze out more total points out of a med with good materials overall (both charges and effectivenes) than a master medic... though a master can usualyl max out 1 of the 2, the extra points of experimentation from a doctor can let them max out both.

so the advanced components can be used in place of the regular ones? That makes more sense now.

correct. it is a bit confusing. i didn't realize that you could do that at first either.

1. Overall Quality and Potential Energy / Unit Toughness matters - a lot
2. Experiment to the nuts if you can - even on subcomponents. The higher their Power / Charges, the better your stims
I (MD) can make basic B-22/280s with normal resources and no advanced components.
Start adding the advanced components in and people have been breaking 40/400. For a B.
Find yourself some premium resources and start experimenting.
