Hey all, sorry for the newbie question (but that is what I am!)...I "heard" if someone uses something you have made (like a stimpack) you can get xp for it?...is this true and is it on all things??...if so where does the xp go?..crafting or what?
Thanks a bunch!

I think that only works for the artisans and not for the med crafting...either way i know its not working for the med crafting line...not sure if this is a bug, not implemented yet or not part of the med crafting line...

Having someone use one of your created items (even for medic items) will gain you Use XP that goes into your, in this case, medical crafting skill (AKA what Organic Chemistry needs to increase). You won't get the XP until they completely use up the entire pack.

Oh, and I did test this on day 3 and it was working then. I have not tested since. We did some swapping and you only get the 20 or so (we were using Woundpack As to test this with) XP after the other person fully uses up the entire woundpack. So you will not see any gain if they just use a few charges which may lead folks to believe it's not working.

interesting that makes sense...do u get more xp the higher the pack or is it just the same...cuz if so, wouldnt that mean that I should put less charges into my packs? lol
not that i would, but that would make the pack go faster...lol

I haven't tested it form that respect either, but Yeah. If your interest was only in getting the crafting XP then I would make unexperimented B packs for that purpose, because they use the most amount of resources (and threfore would have the greatest XP gain, and UXP is supposed to be a percentatge of that XP) and you would get the UXP faster because it would have less charges and be less effective, so you'd have to use those charges up more often. Funny how that works, but that's the way it is, nonetheless.

would make more sense to make xp by the charge and give reasons to crafters to make more charges per pack thus increasing their xp...but oh well...

I'd heard it was a percentage of the crafting xp required to make the pak, so theoretically, you would get more xp when your B pak gets used up than for an A, but I haven't tested it and as I said, just the rumor-mill.
