Medic Archive

I am a Medic and all it seems I do is heal people until my mind is up and wait. I have been with 8 or so adventuring parties and I still haven't leveled up. What am I doing wrong? I can try to make stimpacks, but I can't find any inorganic materials. Only organic! Help please!

Are you using /healdamage or /tenddamage...sounds like u are using /tenddamage which doenst require packs...if so you are going about it all wrong...you need to heal with /healdamage

This means you need stim packs..so go buy some...or make ur own which i recommend if u are aiming for master medic.

as for organics...use a flora survey device and sample for some

He's saying he has organics, but not inorganics. And this is why I think Holo's ideas would be helpful. I didn't have a problem with this, but many new folks are having a problem trying to figure out how to "be a medic", and for them being an Artisan so you can survey is rather counter-intuitive no matter how easy you or I werea ble to figure it out.

At any rate, you can get organics by uying them off the bazaar or by taking Norive Artisan and getting a survey tool, such a a Minroeral or Chemical one, and then sampling for those inorganic resources. The better the Overall Quality and/or Potential Energy of the resource the better. Or just ask the folks you heal if they have any they would spare for you.

Alos you can just skip the crafting part if you want to buy stims of the Bazaar as well. May of them will actually heal much better than any of the ones you could make on your own anyway and if you ae only interested in the healing aspect of the profession, and not the crafting aspect, then it's probably easier to do it that way anyway.

I bought some metal (any kind, just make sure its a big block of one kind) dont go over 400crds buying around 80 to 100 of something.

Then craft a water and mineral survey devises, even at novice artisan you should be able to make those with failures.

Survey for water, scout and harvest bone and hide (both organic)

Make stimpack As

then just go to the cantina and use stim pack to heal action on dancers,

only use stimpack on party members when in battle (you get no XP if used on your self)

or run around people fighting and use on them

dont askfor money just use them up

resurvey and craft as many as you can

you can go through a stack (10) stimpacks in minutes and fill your medic tree very fast this way

stay away from sitting in the med center fighting for patients.

also if you have scout set up camp when you can and heal there..MAD XP.
