Thread: 17 Medical xp TOTAL..now what???

Hi everyone,


I am a Teras Kasi Master, that is now begining his path towards become a Master Doctor, however I need Medic first. Problem is as stated my total medical xp is...yes 17 xp...so I have a long road ahead.


My question is which medic skill trees should I go up first, or what order should I build my skill up toward Master Medic.


Also I am trying to do as much research on were to get some great xp and I have a general idea. If there are any pointers or "words of wisdom" (advice) you would give someone in my position plz post it below.


REMEMBER what seems like "no-brainer" medic knowledge to you maybe invaluable info for someone like me ATM.

get loads of resourses. go to med center. craft stims like no bodies buisness (droid w/ station).



Heal wounds. I made advanced B action and health. 100 - 150 healing. +300 XP. (buy a 5 or so action and health wound packs with 100 + healing power)



Climb pharmacy 1st (if ya get bored healing and go in combat, you can use C stims) (buy some strong 300ish B / C stims ) Get First Aid 2nd for better use of stims.



No one in med center? try cantina. Coronet always seems to be busy (both medics and injured)



I suggest buying because you can not make anything closely decent untill organic 4. While crafting ya can be healing =).



Any other ideas / corrections do be made

Oh and to make advanced stims / wounds (300 stims / 100 wounds) you need a total of 8 semi rare resourses. (dolovite iron, tatooine fiber plast, dathomir berries, lokian wheat, and other specifics) To buy each in 500's is 3000 atleast. + ya need 16ish organic/inorganics.



So I suggest buying it untill you can afford to run buisness of making and selling to make a profit.

actually you need


Advanced Liquid Suspension (for stims) Dantooine berries and Talusian water vapor


Advanced Bio Effect Controller ( stims and wound packs) Tatooine Fiberplast and Lokian wild wheat


Advanced Chemical Release Duration Mechanism ( stims and wound packs) Class 4 Liquid petro fuel and Herbivoir (sp?)meat


Advanced Solid Delivery Shell ( wound packs, doc buffs) Dolovite Iron and Domesticated Oats



the Dolovite Iron and Class 4 Liquid petro fuel can be hard to come by depending on the server. If you ever see them be sure to plant a harvestor ASAP, expecially for the Iron ( It really helps with the wound packs and buffs) everything else is prettty much just raising money for air fare and harvestor maintenance for a week

Actually I almost mastered medic in one week by going to a "busy cantina" and heal the entertainers action pool. You can also craft your stims while you wait for there action pools to decrease.

you might be able to heal more often, but you use up more stims on entertainersthan woundpacks on injuredto get the same amount of XP


(healing i get 150ish XP)


(wounds i get 300ish XP)

wounds give you 2:1 (I think, been so long since I capped out)


injuries give you 1:4


wound timer at Master Doc is 15 seconds, at medic it's ~30


injury treatment at master medic is ~5 seconds


you can heal 6 times for 1.5x the exp or heal once for 1x the exp.

Actually, for XP, you get 2.5x the amount of wounds you healed in XP.


For damage healing, you get 0.25x the amount of damage you healed in XP.


Now, if you are healing damage, then you'll get quite a lot, if you are using a high powered stim. As Moshi said, at Master Medic, one can heal 6x for damage, as compared to 1x wound healing.


So lets say, on average, you get 500xp per damage heal you do (the person you are healing is getting hit a lot). Now thats 500x6 = 3000xp. Thats 3k xp in half a minute. You can NOT get that wound healing, unless you had a very wounded person who had 1200 wounds. And chances are, you are not going to heal all of those, as a medic, in one go. I can just about heal them for one go with a Woundpack E, so chances are that a Woundpack B will get about 1/3 or 1/4 of the 1200 wounds.


So, damage healing is the best thing to go for.

another thing, don't just sit in the cantina and heal the dancer/musicians that gets boring, and fast. There are 3 ways to do it. 1 = Cantina Sit, 2 = Field Dressing, 3 = Macroing, but I'm reluctant to tell you how to do this cause it detracts from the game.
